I wake up to the sound of my alarm beeping. I open my eyes and looked at my phone. It was 6 am on a Monday morning. I was starting at my new school. I had finished decorating my room during the week, thanks to Pinterest and Ikea.

We were still working on the rest of the house but it was looking good. I had overcome my jetlag and I was excited for my first day at my new school. I walk down the stair to the newly decorated dining room.

I sit down across from Jacob who was on his phone snapping his friends. I go to the kitchen to grab breakfast. The only thing in the kitchen was cereal and milk. I guess we forgot to go shopping. I pour myself a bowl of cereal and head back to the dining room table. I just stared at the cereal and stirred it. Eventually it got soggy, so I started eating it. I pulled out my phone from my pocket and as I unlocked it, it brought me to last nights findings.

During the week, I had been on Instagram looking through every username that had Hunter in it. I couldn't find anything. That was until I heard my brother talking to some guys from the Tatnall football team last night. I think he was sending video snaps of him talking about his 'passion' for football. I don't know how he met them but apparently he follows them on Instagram and after a little bit more stalking I found it. Hunter. Hunter Biden.

I did a bit of Googling and his grandfather used to represent Delaware in the senate. His father used to be in the army and was an attorney general in Delaware. So he's in a family of politicians. I'm surprised I haven't heard of him until now, but then again, I'm always in different countries and I hate politics, it's too complicated.

I had found Hunter's Instagram, but of course it was private. It would be weird to request to follow him, especially since the only conversation we had was a 'hey'. From my experience, do not request to follow a cute stranger you're going to be in the same class with. It gets awkward really quick because then they know you've been stalking them. I've learnt from experience.

"Y/n, Y/n!" my dad yells.

"Yes, sorry dad, what is it?" I snapped out of my thoughts.

"Get ready, we don't want to be late for your first day."

"But it's 6:30, we've got an hour and a half! School starts at 8:30."

"We're going to come half an hour early because the school wants to talk to you both before you start. Remember you do still need timetables."

"Dad can we get Starbucks on the way please, I'm tired of eating cereal for one week straight." Jacob complains

"Well then, more of a reason to tell your sister to hurry up and get ready."

I was running late on the first day of my new school. I grabbed my backpack and ran out the door. I hopped in the car and hoped I left a brush in here somewhere.

"Mum do you have a brush?" I asked, furiously looking through my backpack.

"Yes, please try to calm down, you're making me nervous and I'm not even the one going to school." my mum shook her head from the passenger seat.

She pulls out a brush from her purse and passes it to me. I open up my camera to try and fix my hair. Jacob laughs at me and goes back to whatever he was doing on his phone.

We stopped at Starbucks to order breakfast, I was too nervous to think about food anything so I just ordered a tall iced chocolate. I barely even sipped my drink because I knew if I drank too much I would need to go to the bathroom and I don't want to ask to go to the bathroom in my very first class in Tatnall.

Dad parked the car and we all got out. It was freezing today. I should've brought a coat. A great start to the day. I left my iced chocolate in the car and walked into the office, shivering. The iced chocolate was a bad idea. The office ladies greeted us and I'm assuming the student tour guide gave us our timetables. We hugged our parents goodbye and she led us outside the office and into the school.

"Welcome to your first day at Tatnall, I'm Mia, I'll be showing you your way to class and I'll be answering any questions that you have. I'll introduce you to your grades. I'm currently in 10th grade so I don't think we'll have any classes together."

"I'm Jacob and this is my sister Y/n." Jacob replies. "Do you think you could show me the football team? I know it's winter but I want to train before football season starts."

I rolled my eyes. It's 8 in the morning and he's thinking about football.

"Of course, this way."

We walk to a group boys sitting on a silver table.

"Chase and Avery are on the football team. They're also in your grade Y/n. This is Hunter. He's on the lacrosse and track team. If you guys want to join any clubs..."

Hunter Biden. I slowly blocked out Mia's voice. How is it possible that Hunter looked cuter today. His hair was a puffy, brown mess but that just made him cuter. He smiled as Mia was talking about clubs. The way his eyes just sparkled when he smiled. His mouth started to open and he started forming some kind of sentence.

"Y/n? Y/n? Are you okay?" he asks.

I looked back at Mia and Jacob. Jacob was trying to hold in his laugh.

"Yes, sorry, what were we talking about?" I felt myself blush.

"Did you want to join the track team, or lacrosse? We have cheerleading too if you're into that?" Mia repeats again.

"Uh yeah, I'll sign up for all of them." I barely had any idea what I was saying. I was trying not to stare at Hunter. I took a step back and asked where the bathroom was.

"Here, I'll show her. Mia can stay here with Jacob and wait for the rest of the football team to arrive." Hunter got up and started walking towards me. "It's just this way."
