Chapter 31

Ryujin's PoV

I woke up on the right side of the bed. I was cuddled by Yeji. My face is in her chest as she hugs me. I love this girl. I wouldn't ask her to marry me if I don't love her. I have almost lost her and I will not take that risk again.

I sniffed in her scent and I smiled. Waking up next to the person you want to grow old with is probably the best thing. I carefully removed myself from her embrace as I replaced myself with a pillow.

I took in Yeji's facial features because those were too good to be true. It's like everything that she has looks good on her, like they were handpicked to be on her.

I did my morning routine before going out of the bathroom. When I went out, my fiancé is still sleeping. Fiancé. I smiled.

I was about to go out when I saw her phone ringing. I wanted to respect my girlfriend's privacy but the call is disturbing Yeji's sleep. I was about to put her phone in silent mode when the caller's name caught my attention.

Yeonjun calling...

I wondered why. Why would you call the person who broke up with you? I mean, yeah. Ex's can be friends but not when it's still fresh.

I didn't pick it up. I just put it in silent mode, I still respect her privacy. I pecked a kiss on her temple before going out.

"Hey, buddy!" I greeted Taeoh when I saw him in the garden with Yeji's cousins

"Babba!" Taeoh called out and he ran to me

I carried him as I walked to the Hwang's. They were smiling as they are looking at me.

"Finally! Here comes the no longer a bachelor!" Hyunjin said

"I just wanted to say thank you to you. It wouldn't be possible without you guys," I told them

"Grandchildren would suffice as a thank you, Shin!" Mr. Hwang said that made me chuckle

Taeoh is playing with Hyunjin and Momo. While I and the other Hwang's are just talking about something. Then I got an idea.

"Where are you going?" Soyeon asked

"I'm going to prepare breakfast," I said

"We got that already, Ryujin," Mrs. Hwang replied

"Breakfast for my fiancé, Mrs. Hwang," I stated and she smiled sweetly

I went to the kitchen and I prepared the ingredients that I will need. I will just make her pancakes since it's the only thing that I can perfect.

I am preparing the flour when I felt arms creeping on my waist. A smile automatically crept on my face then I pulled her arms to hug me even tighter

"This is sweet," I said

I loosened the hug as I faced her. I cupped her face because I want to put flour on her and also because I want to kiss her, so I did.

Her eyes were still closed when I removed my lips from hers.

"One more," She said so I pecked her lips once again

"Moreeeee!" Yeji pouted and I just laughed before turning to the pancakes

"What are you doing, love?" She asked

"Pancakes for you and my Taeoh," I replied when she went to the kitchen counter

She went to the garden to greet the others as I continue to make the pancakes. When she came back, the pancakes were done and we started eating. The others were apparently done with their breakfast
