Jennie Kim is way out of my league.

Please, no one has to tell me all about it because I am fully aware.

The thing is, I don't even know why Jennie Kim likes me or befriends me out of all people.

It's not like we were best friends ever since we were kids, because let me tell you, we are not.

Jennie Kim and I met back in our freshmen year, the whole thing was pretty blurry for me, and it makes me cringe every time I tried to remember it, but then, we were already pretty strong. Though, I don't know how since our personalities don't really mesh well together.

I was pretty social, I can say I'm pretty friendly - not the most antisocial person as Jennie is, who clearly doesn't make any efforts making friends with others. It even came to the point that when someone tries to befriend her, she makes them look weird that makes the person weird and it becomes awkward. . . like that.

It just makes me slap a hand on my forehead most of the time.

She dresses very well, I don't.

She has a status, I'm just a normal college goer wanting to end my school life and just to shit.

Everyone admires her, and well. . .I can say everyone um, doesn't know me?

"Hey Y/N!"

Looking up, I smiled when I saw Nayeon beaming at me with her rabbit teeth that makes me giggle every time I see her. "Hey Nayeon, what's up?" I greeted, watching the way her smile beamed even more, before latching on my arm making me wince in surprise.

I'm not used to other people latching on to me or being clingy - well, depends if it's Jennie, though.

Because she always clings to me.

"I wanted to introduce you to someone!"

"Me?" I blinked. "What um, what do you mean introduce me to someone? Someone who wants to be friends with me?"

"It's a friend of mine that really likes you," Nayeon giggles, making me stay still. "Well, you can say it like that, that she wants to be friends with you - but I'm kind of surprised when someone like her would like someone like you,"

"Excuse me?" Hey, that was. . .pretty offensive. Am I that bad?

"No! No no," Nayeon laughs, looking up at me as we skip our way to the hallway. "I mean, Y/N you are pretty attractive, but honestly, the fashion sense - why do you always look like you're going to somebody's funeral everyday with all the black and white clothes? And the hair, you should get some haircut and maybe work-out a bit-" she poked my ribs, making me distant myself away from her but her lock on my arms were pretty tight.

"Wearing black and white clothes is pretty easy. . " I murmured. "It's not like I'm in school to learn fashion, and I like my long hair, you know. . ." I tried. Jennie always runs her hand through my hair, she also combs it for me but she never really mentioned about me cutting it off nor even commented on my fashion sense. Especially working out. See why I'm friends with Jennie as well? She just accepts you the way you are.

"Anyway, come to our batch dinner tonight. She'd be there as well, alright?" Nayeon says, turning to me and stopping us from walking. "Don't tell me you aren't coming, oh come on, you're becoming so isolated with yourself nowadays. I remember you always going to out dinner party back when we were freshmen,"

Yeah, but those were the days when I was still on edge with Jennie, not really knowing what she wants from me - but now instead of going to dinner parties we just spend some time together.
