Leigh-Anne's POV
"She what?!"

"Leigh let me finish!"

I held my breath as I hopped out of my car and grabbed the bags from the boot. "I had to run to the kitchen because she was having a panic attack, and she grabbed me but I was able to calm her down. She scared me bad Leigh, but she made some progress because I think she was having a memory. Maybe a bad one." Jade's voice was a little raspy and I heard some papers being shuffled in the background.

"How are you holding up?" I asked after a moment because I knew how attentive the brunette was to the blonde now, but that probably didn't mean the same for herself. "I don't know Leigh. Honestly, I hadn't even thought about it on my end. I just, I try and stay and well, I want to be okay you know? I also want her to be okay." She answered, and I knew what she meant. That was how I'd felt about Jesy and I, because during our break, we were able to fall apart as individuals and understand how to carry on and get back up by ourselves too.

"I know it's not the easiest thing to do right now but maybe you need to think about it you know? And just take the time to look after yourself too babe, you matter just as much as the rest of us do." I wanted to hug the Geordie on the other end of the phone, hearing her make a noise and agree with me. "I'm just starting to understand that Leigh, thank you."

"Always love." I could hear her tone improve, sensing what I hoped was relief. I waved to the doorman on my way to the elevators and set the bags against the wall. "Are you getting home now? I'll let you go, but we'll see you two tomorrow then, for the meeting and collab prep." Jade didn't miss a thing these days. I chuckled a little. "Of course pop, well give Perrie a hug from Jes and I. We're going to chill for a bit."

"Okay, I love you both. See you later." The Geordie hummed and I smiled wider, opening the front door as we said our goodbyes. I was tired but relieved, at least. It was better than nothing.

"Hi."

"Hey."

Jesy was sitting on the couch in the loft when I got back from the grocery store. "How's it?" I asked about her face, she nodded. "Alright. Jaw's almost done healing up." She answered me softly. I took a quick glance to see she wasn't lying, the bruise seemed to be doing well. She had iced it the past week. Then again the big negative was that Annecka chewed her out. After she chewed out Jade of course.

"Hungry?" I ask my girlfriend as I start to stock up the fridge. She chuckled softly at my question. "No, honestly I think my girlfriend needs to take a break from babysitting me. She seems to be doing worse than I am." Her voice was louder, I realized she had walked into the kitchen behind me and handed me the rest of the things for the fridge before putting the bags up again and sat on a barstool, opening her arms for me.

"Hey, at least I even bother, we've got another trip to Glasgow coming up soon for our collab research, we all deserve to go without any bullshit coming up again." I pouted and went over to her. "You don't need to worry anymore bubba, I've healed remarkably well. Thanks to my lovely doctor. No bullshit necessary." She adds with a small wink at the end. "Oi watch the comments or I'll re-create that." I blush and gesture to her jaw. "Oh, is that a threat?" Her eyes widened like olives, making me laugh.

"How about watching Doctor Who? Too much for you?" I hug her around her waist to pull her closer to me. "We already watched the entire fifth season on a whim Leigh!" She groaned, bopping my forehead. "But it was fun! Imagine if you could ever have the T.A.R.D.I.S!" Doctor Who is a brilliant show, no lie, and if the T.A.R.D.I.S ever existed, well, I'd give all I've got to get my hands on it.
