[7] The Man

Sofi POV

"Hey Ashton does that man look familiar?" I ask softly.

"Sorta, why?"

"Well it's bugging me."

*flashback*

"Maybe you should go with the red one." She said.

"I don't know mom. I don't think dad would like it."

We were going dress shopping for the Christmas dance.

"I think since it's Christmas you should go with the white one." said Emily.

"You are so right, sorry mom but she has a point."

"Actually she does." Mom said spinning me around.

"Wow you look amazing." Dad said.

"Dad what are you doing here?" He didn't come with us in the car.

"Well I-I didn't want to stay home." I rolled my eyes.

We walked to the register and paid.

*end of flashback*

"You don't think..." I said.

"No it couldn't. He's gone." Ashton said.

"I'm going to go get us some drinks." said Alyssa.

She walked towards the pop station and that man came to the station too.

They said a polite hi. Alyssa took a double take.

She said something I couldn't make out. He replied. She had this confused/angered look.

Then they disappeared.

"Wonder what's that about." Micheal said. Apparently I wasn't the only one looking.

"Yeah maybe he was familiar, Ashton, and Alyssa knew him." I said.

Ashton smirked. "Yeah maybe he's gonna be living with you guys soon."

I nudged him in the side and rolled my eyes. "Well guys the only thing I'm thinking about is when is our drinks gonna get here." Calum said.

"They'll get here soon, hopfully." Micheal joined.

Then Alyssa came back with her eyebrows pulled close together.

"What was that about?" Ashton asked.

"Well I'll tell you later." She said.

"Um I don't know what happened,but uh, where's the drinks?" Calum asked.

"No drinks we should take the pizza and go." She said.

Whoever this guy was, I should stay away cause she's never like this. She never runs away. She always jumps into things.

Back at the house I couldn't expect the next words to come out of her mouth.

"Sofi the man was your dad, he's alive."
