Luffy x Reader 🍋

HEY MY HORNY BESTIES <3 this isn't a continuation from the previous chapter I'm sorry ;-; I rlly wanted to do something new for y'all. And what is it you may ask???

ANYWAYS as always I literally don't plan out my chapters and write whatever comes to mind. See you kinky ppl at the end ;)))

Everything had always been rather normal within the crew. Everyone gets along (aside from Zoro and Sanji fighting every chance they get)

It's always lively and loud on board, it's definitely never boring. But for the last few days you noticed that your captain, Luffy seemed to be avoiding you. At first you thought you were probably just overthinking it since he's always on the go, always wanting to do something new. So you didn't think too much of it, but as the days went on it became obvious.

You would try approach your captain and say something but he'd always blurt out an excuse and run off somewhere on the ship. You never bothered chasing him because you didn't want to make anything worse if there was a problem.

But it was becoming almost unbearable, you and your gorgeous captain were super close so you couldn't understand what had happened.

Finally you think there's no other choice but to force him to speak to you, otherwise who knows how long he's just going to keep running off on you.

You were about to get up from the bottom floor of the ship, on the couch in front of the fish tank where you'd been for the past few hours when you hear footsteps walking in. The familiar tap of sandals on wooden floor.

You stand up and wait for him to come around the corner.
And as soon as his eye meets yours he's slowly turning around on his heel without a single word to you.

"No! Not this time Luffy. Not today" you say demandingly, walking quickly over to him and grabbing his wrist. Forcing him to turn back and face you.

His eyes glued to the ground.
"What the hell Luffy can you at least look at me?" You sigh impatiently.

Feeling your frustration he decided to look up. His dark orbs meeting your e/c ones. A sudden flash of guilt washing your captains face as if he's only just realised he must have been hurting you.

You weren't sure how to start so you both just stand there for a moment, your hand still wrapped around his wrist, eyes still locked.

Instead of starting with words you decide to pull him forward and into a hug. Burying your head into his chest.
Luffy was stunned for a moment before wrapping his arms around your waist firmly, his head leaning on your shoulder, breath fanning your right ear. You had missed him so much, you needed to be close to him.

"I'm sorry, I messed up didn't I?" Luffy finally speaks, his voice full of guilt and regret.

Pulling away to look back at him, your eyebrows crossed, still a bit angry with him.

"Yeah you did. I thought I did something to make you angry... why were you avoiding me?" You ask, voice a little bit frustrated but mostly just hurt.

"No!" Luffy quickly blurts out instantly. "It's not that..." he trails off, as if he's hiding something from you. And as if it wasn't obvious already, he begins avoiding eye contact again.

"Then what is it!? Tell me Luffy?" You ask demandingly. Your captains eyes shooting back to yours at your words.

For a moment you thought you had scared him until you notice a slight tint of pink across his cheeks, causing you to get confused. His hands fidgeting with themselves. You'd never seen your confident captain look nervous about anything before.
