YOUR POV:

It had been a while since you'd last stepped foot on an island, so the feeling of a steady and unwavering surface beneath your feet was a nice change.

Safe to say everyone was excited to get off the ship and walk around and go shopping.

For Sanji that meant stocking up on ingredients.
Robin, looking for new historical books, the older the better. Chopper tagging along in search of medical books.
Nami, shopping for clothes probably, or even mapping out the new land.
Zoro staying behind to "guard" the ship, which was actually just him sleeping. Although that was the best place for him to be, it saved you all the time of looking for him later when he gets lost.
Usopp, Franky and Brook were who knows where. It was hard to keep up with everyone's whereabouts when your main focus was on Luffy.

As for you, you were chasing after your "starving" captain. He really couldn't control himself from dashing off to the nearest restaurant he could find. You didn't mind him having a big appetite, you just wished he could wait one moment for you to come with him.

Instead he was already gone and you were left to search everywhere for him. You rolled your eyes as you continued walking but couldn't help the small smile that crossed your lips, thinking of how happily your captain is probably stuffing his face right now. Not to mention the terrified look on the cooks face watching him basically inhale the food, plate after plate.

To make things worse, this island was quite busy. There were people everywhere enjoying the beautiful sunny weather and strolling the streets.

After walking in the hot sun for a few minutes your eyes finally catch the sign of a restaurant. Considering it was the first one in a direct line from the ship, you could only assume this was where he went.

Opening the doors and being hit immediately with a cool wave of air, you breathed a sigh of relief.

A second sigh of relief came when your eyes spotted that familiar straw hat across the oddly large restaurant. Caught up in his own world, A.K.A his pile high stack of plates as more is placed infront of him.

"Can I help you beautiful?" A flirty voice interrupts before you can make your way to your captain. Slightly startling you from your thoughts.

You look to where the voice came from to see a rather handsome man with bright blue eyes staring at you. You couldn't help but blush under his intense gaze.

Usually someone so forward would put you off but there was something about this man that didn't give you the usual creeps. And instead was quite charming.

"Oh, no thank you I'm just here for my captain" you reply with a smile, your voice a little sweeter than usual. Gently pointing to the bar where Luffy is still shovelling food into his mouth.

"He seems to be quite busy with his meal, why not sit and have a drink with me" his voice was like silk and without even realising, you were sitting down at his table. The smirk on his lips not going unnoticed by you.

A confident wave of his hand and a waitress was already placing two drinks down on the table.
"Thank you" you say slightly softer than before, feeling increasingly shy around the man with ocean eyes, curly chocolate hair and a clean suit with not a single wrinkle in sight.

Without realising it, some time had gone by, chatting and sharing a few laughs with the stranger across from you.

And as you're giggling and blushing at the man, your now full captain has finally spotted you. Recognising that giggle that makes his heart skip a beat, except this time he feels his blood boil at the sight of another man making you laugh like that. A sound that Luffy wanted to be the only cause of.
