Honestly this is all up to personal choice.
Preferably this is more so a pet peeve if authors don't, but I like books that have chapter numbers and a title.
Usually mine take a line from the chapter to either scare or intrigue the reader.
If not, it's just to summarise what the chapter might be about.
This can include activity names and certain characters, for example:
Chapter 16 - Beach day
Chapter 29 - The merchant
Chapter 11 - You're a child
Chapter 5 - Leave me alone
You get the idea!
Again, this is all up to you.
Usually I tend to use lines from the actual chapter to intrigue the readers but I can also use a title to summarise the contents but not spoil what type of mood it's going to be.
Titles and chapter titles are there to help!
Don't be scared to use them to further your readers attention to the plot!
