It Complicated (Heya Story)

One day

PRESENT DAY NAYA POV

"Kaya why are you so against us having a baby" Naya asked questionably

"I remember when I had that sleeping episode and Heather stayed with me without really knowing much about me. She was so patient with me, even when I wouldn't open up to her. I don't want to have to compete for her love and attention with a baby."

"You would never have to compete with the baby i will love you both the same" Heather said while leaning on the door frame.

"Do you remember when you had a sleep over with some friends and went off on me" Heather asked with questionable grin

FLASHBACK

" Kaya is having a sleepover tonight do you think you can help me?"Naya asked heather over the phone

" No problem I will be there"

"Thanks babe bye"

"bye"

"Kaya is it ok if Heather helps with the sleep over?" Naya asked her daughter just to make sure

"Why does she have to be there?" she says sounding unsure

"Because there is going to be 8 of you and I need help"

"Fine as long as she leaves me alone"

LATER THAT DAY

The sleep over was starting and the girls seem like they were having a good time. There was about 8 of them here. Heather was keeping me company and help with the girls because 8 girls in one apartment is alot to handle. Heather and I was chilling in the kitchen cooking food for the girls. Spending time with her is just wonderful because I rarely get to see her anymore. Kaya doesn't really like her and Heather has been busy with her work. We were chill until we heard yelling in the living room. When Heather and I walk into the room we see Kaya having an argument with her friend name China. China was a pretty girl she had long curly brown hair. Her eyes were hazel similar to Kaya's. She was pretty tall about 5'8.

"What is going on here Kaya" I spoke interrupting their argument

"China was talking about my favorite girl group fifth harmony. She said they suck and little mix is better. I love little mix too but fifth harmony is great as well." she spoke with clear anger in her voice

"They are both really good girl groups but little is better" china states

"Calm down girls" I tried to get them to chill out

"You girls both have your own options on the groups. That is great that you stand up for artist but Im sure both group are equally excellent." Heather  spoke in a calm manner

"HEATHER STAY OUT OF IT. YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHO LITTLE MIX OR WHO FIFTH HARMONY IS. THE ONLY REASON YOU ARE HERE IS BECAUSE MY MOM INVITED YOU. YOU ARE IRRELEVANT TO MY LIFE. HONESTLY I WISH YOU WOULD GO HOME. I DON'T LIKE YOU AND I DON'T THINK I EVER WILL. SORRY NOT SORRY! " Kaya shouts and I'm in complete shock by her actions

"Kaya don't you ever speak to her like or raise your voice at an adult again. You are one stubborn little girl. I try to deal with your attitude towards heather but I'm sick of it. You need to grow up and see that she cares about you. You are being childish and it is not cute. This disrespectful nonsense is not going to be tolerated anymore. You can finish your sleep over but after it is over we got things to talk about." I'm pissed at Kaya she is just so broken and i don't know what to do about it.

THE NEXT DAY

The sleep over was over and the girls went home. China and Kaya made up. Kaya and I have to talk because i cant do this anymore. Heather left after Kaya's out burst I'm just scared she wont come back. Kaya walks out of her room and takes a seat next to me.

"I'm sorry about last night" she spoke with her eyes staring at the ground

"Why are you saying sorry to me you treated Heather with disrespect. You need to be saying sorry to her."

"Im saying sorry because I disappointed you"

"Kaya why do you have to be so difficult? Why cant you see that I'm happy with Heather? " I don't understand her anymore

"Mom I try. I am trying to let her in. I don't want to see you get hurt. Every relationship you get in you give them your all and they hurt you. Sometimes I feel like you will leave me behind to be with Heather. I had a night mare about someone kidnapping you and hurting you *starts crying* I love you mom and I don't want to lose you."She said with her faces dripping with tears

I pull her into a hug and held her. "Kaya you will never lose me , I promise"

There was a knocking at the door so I let got Kaya to open the door. When I open the door Heather is standing there with here head down like she was ashamed.

"Heather please come in"

"Hi Naya, um hi Kaya" She says in an awkward way

"I'm sorry Heather I should have never snapped on you"

"Kaya I'm really trying here. I'm doing good by you and your mom can you please give me a chance" she said pleading her way into Kaya's heart

"I will try"

"I will wait for you Kaya "

Heather kiss me on the lips and pull me into an embrace and walks out the front door. The door shuts and Kaya jumps up and runs out the door. I worriedly chasing after her. She catches Heather walking into the elevator and pulls her into an unexpected hug. This change might be good for her. One day she will except Heather and I.

PRESENT DAY

" I loved you then and I love you now kaykay" Heather said while pulling kaya into a loving hug
