I looked up at the familiar street, glacing between the different people that passed me by. Some, if not most faces felt familiar, but there were still a couple I couldn't recognize

I didn't mind. In time they would come for a trade and eventually, need my help. As I strolled trough the crowd I kept fidgeting with my dagger, once again grateful that it was there

I cut trough one of the alleys until I found my favourite place in this shithole. It wasn't that much about what they served as much as it was about the couple happy memories that lingered between those walls

The last drop. The infamous bar that everyone had seemed to slowly start to forget

As I walked further into the bar I couldn't help but sigh. I was still exausted from the explosion that took place not so long ago and now it felt like everything was back where it had started

I put a hand over my face. I hate my life

Why did I have to leave again? Oh right

Damn it, I shouldn't have left. I should have stayed with Vi. Maybe I could go back and apologize. And maybe talk with Caitlyn about all the crazy things that had happened so far. Or I could kick Ekko's ass

No no. Wait yes. No. .... I don't fucking know ok!

I was starting to fall for her even more and it...well... it scared me. I was scared that if I opened up, if I did anything in general everything could turn real in a split second and that would mean that I would have to open myself up for another possible heartbreak

After I had decided I couldn't deal with my thought alone right now I went back up to the main area and took the table in the corner that stood next to a tall window

I looked down to see a menu proudly displayed on the polished surface. I raised an eyebrow as I chuckled. They served food now. How clever

"Would you like anything?" A tall woman with dirty blond hair and a scar across her eye asked as she walked up next to my table

I shrugged and leaned back in my chair "Surprise me"

And if you try to play any tricks on me I would make sure to burn this place down to the ground

I'm pretty sure that she could see the threat in my eyes because her confident smirk quickly turned into a neutral frown "Will do" was all she said before she walked away to say something to that asshole on the bar

Now what was I supposed to do?

After three seconds of doing nothing and being internally bored I took out my weapon and started playing with it as I read my options on the piece of paper that they called a menu

Who were they even trying to fool? There are like three things you could get and all of them were made out of the same ingredients

"Did you see that enforcer?"
