I like to think Wilbur learned how to paint a little bit from Techno. Let's just say that when Techno still had trouble controlling the voices, he would either listen to Wilbur strumming soft melodies on his guitar, or he'd paint, since that calmed him down a bit.
So, Wilbur just walked over one day and saw that Techno was painting something. Wilbur asked if he could learn, and Techno taught him a little.
So, every once in a while, Wilbur would paint a few portraits of nature and things like that during the L'Manburg era, before Techno joined the server, because it reminded him of his friend.
