Otto Octavius has only just begun to help the Faunus People of Menagerie, and after giving them power and electricity, he was able to do so much more, of course with limited supplies and doing everything by himself, he decided to focus on the small and basic things that he could realistically do until he was more settled in and had more to work with, one of those many things was fixing the entire Village itself, not to say that nothing was wrong with in the first place, but Otto can tell that they were forced to live a certain poor quality lifestyle, so with that in mind and working with what he got, he was able to turn this small Village into a place filled with proper well made homes, stores, and even schools, usually such a thing would've taken forever, even with someone with his [Mechanical Arms] and intelligent, but due to his first act of kindness, he was able to get support and help from the people of these lands, to which he thanked them and was grateful for their generosity, of course, once he established real trust with the Citizens of Menagerie, he was able to make some real progress and accomplish so much more, example of this would be to both expand and make the area a more habitable place, obviously it was difficult, even with the new help Octavius has gotten, it took a while to even do, and encountering a few Grimms along the way didn't make things easier, which honestly startled the Doc Ock at first, but not only did he have the power to take down each one that got in his way, but he had a few ideas on to keep these threats at bay and away, which was another thing to add to the list of the many nice things he's done for all of Menagerie, and he just kept continuing to do all these things, not only to make up for the wrongs he committed in the past, but also, it just makes him feel good, to see the many happy faces live a more better life thanks to him, which made everything so much worth it...

/A Few Months Later\
"May I ask you something, Otto?"
Back at the Hut in the middle of the desert, which was rebuilt and upgraded as a proper two story House, Otto Octavius, who was busy look out from his balcony, turn his head to see Kali Belladonna walking up to him, though after setting down a tray of tea and cookies

"What's on your mind?"
Otto tilts his head, wondering what his, 'Friend', who's been living with him for quite awhile, had in her mind and wanted to bring up

"Why are you doing all of this?"
Kali then stood next to her, 'Friend', and looked out the balcony as well, from there she was able to see her home, what used to be a small village, has become something so much more, it basically became a Town, but with more life and a hint of nature, like it was naturally combining together into something more, well, 'Natural', and even though it was growing, it was not overbearing or to much of anything, it was simple, but it was still a much more better livable condition

"I know you mentioned about repaying the past mistakes, and almost hurting me, but even so, I think you did more than what you owed."
Kali couldn't help but feel, well not concern specifically, but definitely something that made her question if Octavius was ok and wasn't doing to much on what was needed, though her worries made him smile softly and chuckle slightly

"Well, I won't deny that I did more than what I was told, but even so, I don't mind it, I actually enjoy doing all of this for y'all."
Otto didn't argue with her, knowing that she was most likely right about what she said

"But why? What do you have to gain from doing all of this?"
Kali was confused on why Doc Ock was going out of his way to help everyone, yet barely ask anything in return, she didn't see the point of all this and understand why he even continue doing it

"I know this sounds cliche, but I just want to help others, I always wanted to help, even my, 'Past Sins', were still the result of my desire to help."
Even though Otto somewhat moved on, it was clear that his 'Villainous Days' still affected on who and what he was today

"But why?"
Kali still wanted to know why he thought in such a way

"'Intelligence is not a privilege, it's a gift, and you use it for the good of mankind', or in your case, 'Faunuskind', heh, those were words that I used to live by, and something that I was reminded of back in the day."
Otto looks back at the beautiful Town, more specifically the people that were happy and smiling

"I wouldn't call myself a Hero, I'm far from being one, but even so, I still believe that everyone should know when to help others, especially those with special talents and powers, I'm no different."
That's what Otto use to believe in, that what he 'STILL' believe in, and he wants to continue doing on what he truly believe is right, though this time, without corrupted or bad intentions

"Those are lovely words to live by."
Kali, even though knowing him for a few months now, still couldn't but admire and fully realize what he does was very pure and good in heart, it was difficult to see him differently, despite what he said he did before

"You're a good person, Otto, don't let anyone tell you differently."
Kali words was enough to make his heart go warm and lighten any weight he had felt on his shoulder, it truly made him happy and relaxed

"Thank you Kali, it really means a lot to me."
Without saying anything more, both Otto Octavius and Kali Belladonna just continue to stand next to one another, enjoying each other's company, and just look out from the balcony, admiring the beautiful Town that light up the night sky, it was truly a nice and loving sight, which became much more cuter when one of the [Mechanical Arms] decided to help them out by gently pushing the two together, close enough for Doc Ock to wrap his arms around the Cat Faunus, who nuzzles and lays her head on his shoulder, truly, it was a amazing sight to behold

BTW, the Arms are alive, if I haven't made that cleared already, like they do take orders and cannot refuse Otto, but they also have free will and have their own dislikes, likes, hobbies and all that.
(ALSO, speaking of Arms, I'm thinking about giving Blake either her own set of Arms, or a Twin/Older/Younger Sister, who would be that character from the movie 'Into The Spider Verse', I'm fine with either or, but I would like your opinion or suggestions please~)
