The casita was filled with the bustle of preparation, the casita decorating itself as Alma gave out her instructions, the townsfolk lending a hand in the preparation.

"Yes, Papa?" The two young girls faced their father, halting their play as they sat on the floor.

The two young girls were dressed in their best dresses, the two being twins at the age of three. They kneeled as they sat in front of a stack of wooden blocks, recognised as a game of Jenga. Bruno looked down at the fondly before returning his focus on the situation.

"Have you seen your hermano?" Bruno's eyebrows were furrowed in worry, the two girls looking up at their father.

"Mama said she was talking to him," Musa spoke up, Victoria nodding along behind her.

"She was?" Bruno raised an eyebrow, then nodded.

"Okay," He walked over to the two girls, sitting down before ruffling his daughter's locks, the two girls giggling.

"I'm going to go find Mama and your hermano," He lightly pecked their heads. "Don't cause too much trouble."

The two nodded with bright grins, continuing their game of Jenga. Bruno smiled softly once more before leaving the silent room, returning to the chaos of preparation.

"Brunito," Alma called out, the male turning around. "Have you found Tulio? This night needs to perfect."

The elderly woman neared her son, brushing off the shoulders of her son, spotting a small splotch of dirt. Bruno sighed as his mother fussed, Alma, brushing his stray hairs out.

Alma glanced at her son's outfit one last time, nodding at it approvingly. For the first time in a long time, Bruno was missing his green poncho, a white shirt under being smoothened out by his mother. He still wore his maroon pants, albeit it was slightly crinkled.

"He's with Camila," Bruno nodded slightly. "She's talking to him so I'll leave them be."

"Alright," Alma nodded before frowning slightly at her son's messy locks.

"You should tie up your hair, it's getting a little messy."

"Ay, Mama," Bruno sighed a little lightly pushing his mother's hand away. "I will later."

Alma then smiled a little, pinching her son's cheek. Bruno smiled uncomfortably, Alma soon pulling her hand away, pulling her son into a hug.

"I remember when you had your gifting ceremony," She smiled. "You seemed so nervous compared to your hermanas. And you're still as nervous as ever."

"I just don't want Tulio to be... like me," Bruno rubbed his forearm. "I just don't want him to be shunned."

Alma smiled sadly at her son, Bruno leaning into his mother's touch. The moment was soon interrupted by Camila. The woman held her son's hand, the two standing behind Bruno and his mother.

"Ah, Tulio," Alma smiled, bending down to place a hand on her grandson's cheek, the young boy smiling nervously. He had his father's appearance, yet had his mother's eyes. Alma held her hand out to the young boy.

"Quiero mostrarte algo muy especial," Alma smiled gently, Tulio looking up at his mother.

"Go with Abuela," Camila smiled down her eyes kind. "Papá y yo estaremos aquí."

Tulio slowly released his mother's hand, gently taking Alma's as the two walked away, Camila walking up to Bruno as she placed her hand on his shoulder. She gently rested her head on his shoulder.

"The girls told me you worried about Tulio," Bruno looked down at his wife. "I told him that no matter what, he and his hermanes will always be special to us."

"That's a really reassuring way to put it," Bruno chuckled. "But you always had a way with words."

"Maybe, but you always had me tongue-tied," Camila smiled before placing a small kiss on Bruno's cheek. She then pushed his dark locks away from his face, Bruno facing his wife.

"And I know how uneasy you're feeling now, but things will always get better," She gently held his hands. "And Tulio will always be loved because we will always have his back. Like how I have yours, and you have mine."

"You're right, Mi Corazón," Bruno smiled, the two touching foreheads.

"Come on," Camile smiled, pulling away after a moment. "We're gonna have to get the girls if you don't want us to be late."

"Ay, Mi Amor," He placed a kiss on her forehead.

The two then held hands, walking towards the room where their daughters continued to play their game, the sky darkening as people soon began to flood the house.

Tonight was going to be just perfect.
