Memories of You

I'm thinking of you today, and all the memories that we shared.

Its hard not to let them pass me by and fade away, because I know you truly cared.

People have come into my life, but none have been quite like you;

No one I've met has been so true.

You were my light, my best friend, my loyal sidekick

You gave me peace when I was uneasy,

You gave me hope when I felt like a failure,

You made me realize there would come better days.

But now you're beyond Heavan's gates.

What's it like up there? Are you happy now?

Do you watch me struggle, do you hear me now?

Are they hold you back from coming to my rescue?  I can see you now, fighting with them, pleading to let you come down here to me, for only a minute.

What do you think when you see me cry? Do you wish you could tell me I'm too beautiful to cry?

I've still got your paper hanging on my wall. It's always there to see, and I still read it when I need...
