Everyone should have at least one
I've had three
And without fail
They've all hurt me
Everyone should know exquisite pain
Lightning crashing
Through mismatched
Puzzle pieces of bodies
Everyone should feel that obsession
Yearning
For the wrong one
Who felt so right
Everyone should taste that bitterness
Copper blood
Biting your tongue
Holding back tears
Everyone should hear that song
Pulse and static
Because words
Sound too harsh
And all of them should see
That to us
It meant more
And we're broken.
