Chapter 39

A week has passed since Raghav and Chara's engagement. Aaryn and Yantra both told their wives not to get themselves involved with their parents and other siblings decision while Raghav gave them both an irritated glare when the men told this.

"Hypocrites," Raghav said as he glared at both his father and uncle.

" Why don't you both try to convince um Anirudh thata?" Chara asked them, sighing when both men snorted and shook their head.

"We rather not get involved with him and his opinions...Mihi and Chara can go and visit Ashmaan and Riya anytime they want...we are not stopping them or anything..." Yantra said while Aaryn nod his head.

" Yes...you only stop them from trying to sway thata and patti decision," Raghav said.

Aaryn exhaled his breath and looked squarely at Raghav, arching his eyebrows as he fold his arms while Raghav cleared his throat and adjusted his sitting position.

" Who invited Ashmaan to the engagement ?" Aaryn asked Raghav who bite the inside of his cheek as he flexed his fingers.

" I did..." Chara said in a low voice, ducking her head down. Raghav exhaled his breath and rubbed his right eyebrow.

" What...you know where he lived !?" Yantra asked while Mihira and Thara looked stunned at the girl infront of them.

" Yes...well we knew where Ashmaan mama was...just didn't know he was sleeping with Riya attai," Raghav said.

Kishan and Meera glanced at each other while Aaryn and Yantra narrowed their eyes at Raghav and then glanced at Chara before turning their attention to the man infront of them.

" We...So it was a joint decision ?" Kishan asked Raghav who heaved a breath.

" Yes...we were staying in the same building...Ashmàan mama was at Paris during our time there...we met him once or twice there," Raghav said.

" No no wait...when you were in Paris ? Raghav you only spent what a month there ? Chara was there was a year... so what's this we ?" Kishan asked crossing his arms over his chest.

Raghav smiled widely and clapped his hands while Chara gulped.

" Your uncle is smart isn't he?" Raghav said causing Chara to give him a death glare while Kishan growled.

" Raghav!" Mihira hissed narrowing her eyes at the man who raised his palm up and smiled.

" I was just saying ma..." Raghav said in an innocent tone.

" Sighs...I invited Siddharth sir...he asked me if Ashmaan uncle is coming as well because he met Ashmaan uncle once or twice with Raghav..." Chara said.

" You both were dating from Paris itself right...we are the fools who didn't realise ?" Kishan said causing Chara's eyes to widened and she shake her head, her hands covering her mouth while Raghav snorted.

" I wish...could have just eloped like Ashmaan mama then...atleast then you all could have exiled us and let us have peace..." Raghav said making Kishan and Yantra growl lowly while Mihira walked towards Raghav and smacked his cheek.
