Chapter 91

Aaryn raised his eyebrows as he walked into the hallway.

The ladies murmuring disappeared as their eyed caught his. Aaryn tilt his head as he walked towards the ladies, smiling and hugging Rasika who stood up and hugged him.

" Kudunge periappa, I will keep your briefcase away," the girl said with a cheery voice.

Aaryn looked amused as the girl practically sprinted away while Mansi stood up and shook her head. Aaryn chuckled as Mansi exhaled her breath and hugged Aaryn who pat her back.

" What is it that she didn't want me to hear ?" Aaryn whispered in Mansi's ears causing the woman to exhale her breath.

" It's been two days since she last heard from Preethi. Apparently she met Ashok's brother and the man told her that Ashok hasn't call them since they left," Mansi said with a small smile.

Aaryn nod and pat her head as he heard the concern and worry in Mansi's tone while the woman tried to conceal it.

" I am sure their just caught up with the sightseeing and all," Aaryn said with a gentle smile as he wiped Mansi's tears.

" Anna...Mansi," Kishan's voice floated causing the two to turn around seeing the man walking down the stairs with a concerned look.

He furrowed his eyebrows as he watched Mansi turning her face away as she wiped her tears while Aaryn exhaled his breath through his nose.

" What happened ?" Kishan asked staring at Mansi who shook her head.

" Mama, Thara will be late today. She has to cover the pending administration work as well. She just informed us a few minutes ago. Apprently Vasu is also dealing with some program events so Thara will drop her off and then come back home," Mansi said causing Aaryn to smile and nod his head.

" The twins and Rasika tried baking earlier, their lemon cake turned out surprisingly well. I will bring a slice to your study," Mansi said and walked away leaving the brothers alone.

" What's wrong with her ?" Kishan asked in a concerned tone causing Aaryn to raise his eyebrows as he pressed his lips together.

" She misses her daugther that's all," Aaryn said curtly and walked away leaving Kishan standing alone at the corridor.

Aaryn smiled and ruffled Rasika's hair  before walking away while the girl skipped down the stairs. She tilt her head seeing Kishan standing at the hallway.

Rasika bite the inside of her cheeks as she hide behind the pillar. She watched as Mansi left the kitchen holding a tray.

The woman ignored Kishan and turned her heels before marching away upstairs while the man clenched and unclenched his knuckles.

' Fudge it!' Rasika thought to herself and walked towards the hall. She smirked as she tapped his shoulder causing the man let out a manly squeal.

Rasika snorted while Kishan twist her ears causing her to squeal out her apologies.

" Brat!" Kishan said while Rasika pouted as she rubbed her redden ear.

" Aren't you leaving to visit Meera aunty ?" Rasika asked Kishan who swallowed his saliva and nod his head.

" Did you tell Preethi or Chara about Meera ?" Kishan asked Rasika who raised her eyebrows as she glared at the man.

" Tell them what exactly! That Chara's adopted stepfather tried to sleep with Preethi's mom ? Or the fact that he did that when Chara's adopted mom is in the hospital !?" Rasika asked Kishan who narrowed his eyes at Rasika.
