Chapter 5

"Hey Gally, can I take the day off? I've been working extra?" I ask

"Whatever. Just don't talk to me at all no more." He replies

I walk over to the kitchen and meet up with Frypan

"Hey Fry. What are you cookin?" I ask

"Usual lunch. Pork, corn, sandwiches and soup." He says

"Sounds good. Hey have you seen Thomas?" I ask

"Someone wants to see their boyfriend?" He teases

"Shut up he's not my boyfriend." I said

"For now. He's over there by the garden." He laughs

"Thanks Fry. Call me when it's time for lunch." I said walking away

"Gotcha!" He yells

I go over to the gardens and see Thomas working. Isn't he a runner? Not a gardener.

"What are you doing here?" I ask

"Just helpin with the garden." He said

"But your a runner, not a gardener. Plus I got the day off." I said kneeling down next to him

"You can do that? No fair." He whines

"Too bad. Now stop working it's time for lunch." I said

"What did Frypan cook this time?" He ask

"He said the usual. Pork, corn, sandwiches and soup." I said

"Then let's go." He says

We grab our lunch and sit at a table and Thomas wanted just us two sitting there.

"Why just us two?" I ask

"Cause. I just need to be alone." He said biting into his sandwich

"But I'm here." I said

"I know." He said

We sit there talking and laughing when lunch ended. Everyone heads back to work and me and Thomas go take a walk in the forest. We talk and laugh for a little while more when it's time for everyone to head for bed. I couldn't sleep so I quietly got out of my hammock and took a walk and accidentally wandered into the forest. It's more creepy at night then in the day. Especially when your alone. Suddenly I hear something that sounds like a tree branch break.

"Wh-Who's there?" I said all little scared

I'm so scared to turn around but my curiosity got the best of me and I turned around. I sigh in relief that no ones there. I keep walking when I here that same tree branch break again but this time it was closer

"Who's there?!" I ask now really scared

I turn around quickly and see Gally standing a few feet away

"Gally? What are you doing up?" I ask

"Same thing goes to you." He says

"I couldn't sleep so I wanted to take a walk-"

"In the forest?" He interrupts

"No. I accidentally wandered in the forest." I corrected him

"Who accidentally wanders into the forest?" He asks

"Whatever. Now answer my question." I said

"I saw you go over here." He says

"Ok so?" I said with my arms folded

"I needed to talk to you alone." He says

"Uhh?" I said uncomfortable

"I came to warn you. I know you and Thomas are up to something. The same griever attack happened when Thomas was here. When I got stung I saw him. He was working for the Creators and I also saw you. Then when you showed up in the box I remembered the memory I had and I knew you were bad news ever since. So, what are you doing here?" He says
