Zora's Domain

arriving at the path leading toward Zora's Domain, Link, Kate, and Sheik were met with rain, pouring hard, even the river's around were beginning to flood over the bridges.

"Say, hey there, young one's, up top, above you", a voice shouted as a Zora dropped down in front of the three

"Sidon, it's great to see you again", Sheik said with a smile,

"Nice to see you again too, friend", Sidon greeted

"Wait, Sidon... you're all grown up since the last time I saw you", Kate said as Sidon gave her his signature smile

"Though it has been awhile, I'm glad to see that you two have returned", Sidon said, 'I hope my friend here hasn't given you both a hard time",

"Really", Sheik groaned, causing Sidon to laugh

"No, he hasn't", Kate reassured

"What's going on here", Link asked

"Zora's Domain is in grave danger because of a massive rainfall coming from Divine Beast, Vah Ruta", Sidon explained, "We need as much help as we can get, would you please help us out, your majesties",

"No need for formalities, please", both Link and Kate said in unison, before looking at each other, then laughing a bit

"We'll help, we need to get to Vah Ruta", Kate stated

"Thank you Link, Kate, Zora's Domain will be saved for certain, head on up the path and you will reach the domain", Sidon explained, "I will meet you all there, and let my father know of your arrival",

"See you soon, friend", Sheik said as Sidon nodded his head and jumped into the water, heading upriver, to the domain, Link, Kate, and Sheik all making their way up the path, defeating enemies that lie waiting, and finally reaching the domain, where Sidon waited for them

"Welcome, behold the pride of my people, Zora's Domain, now I shall introduce you to the king, hurry, this way", Sidon stated, the three following him past the Statue of Mipha, up the stairs and into a throne room, where King Dorephan, the King of the Zora's sat, his advisor, Muzu, standing to the right of him as Sidon stood on the left

"Ah, your majesties, it has been awhile since your last visit", King Dorephan said, "a princess to a queen, and a warrior to a king, the Hylian Champions, Sidon had told me of your arrival",

"We don't need formalities", Link said

"Very well, Link, Kate, I doubt not that you have endured a great many trials, still, I must ask you to hear my plea", King Dorephan asked, "Zora's Domain is in danger of vanishing because of Divine Beast Vah Ruta and we alone cannot stop this beast, will you lend us your strength",

"What", Muzu cried out, "King Dorephan, my liege, please do not speak so, to ask Hylians for help... why, the very thought of it curls my fins",

"Muzu, I expected more of you, how can you still protest", King Dorephan asked, unamused

"Muzu, it is rude to speak that way to your king and his guests, they're here cause I invited them", Sidon scolded, "woth such unprecedented rainfall, we have no choice but to rely on the aid of a trustworthy Hylian, have we bot already discussed this and arrived at that very conclusion, they are the key to saving Zora's Domain, I have no doubt in my mind",

"Indeed, Link and Kate are champions through and through", King Dorephan said, "as thing's now stand, Zora's Domain... nay, perhaps all of Hyrule... is doomed to be swallowed by the sea, this is bigger than all of us, my friends, Zora and Hylians alike must put aside our differences and band together",

"Have you forgotten already, my king, we cannot trust these lowly Hylians", Muzu reminded, "a hundred years ago, they abused the power of an ancient civilization and turned Hyrule into what it is today, and that's not the least of it, it is their fault that Lady Mipha was lost to us...",

"As Queen, I do take responsibility in what happened with Mipha, we underestimated the Calamity's power", Kate explained, "and because of that, we lost almost everyone, but we never abused the power... I know that I can't bring Mipha back, but I promise that we'll save Zora's Domain and calm Vah Ruta",

"Vah Ruta can create endless water supply, if not calmed in time, I fear that the reservoir will burst, both Zora's Domain, and countless Hylian lives will be in danger", King Dorephan stated, "your sister often studied the Divine Beasts with you by her side, during the time before the calamity, she shared her knowledge on how to stop the Divine Beast and get inside, but electricity is what's needed",

"Will it be enough to stun it so we can get inside", Link asked, "Zelda asked us to appease Vah Ruta",

"What, Princess Zelda instructed you all to board the Divine Beast", King Dorephan asked, "so then... Princess Zelda is still alive",

"Yes, she's currently holding the calamity at bay in Hyrule Castle", Kate stated

"I do not believe it... she was alive this whole time, just as you both were", King Dorephan said in shock, "the events of 100 years ago cannot be altered, it is true, if we can regain control of the Divine Beast... they may yet prove useful in sealing Calamity Ganon once and for all",

"I see, I shall help too", Sidon stated

"Thank you", Link, Kate, and Sheik said in unison

"Thank you, Link, Kate, truly, we are in your debt", King Dorephan stated, "our goals are the same, that means our meeting was nothing short of destiny, now then, allow me to offer you both this gift as a show of faith",

"King Dorephan brought out an armor for the Zora's that the three took, thanking King Dorephan for the gift

"King Dorephan, surely you do not really intend to give these outsiders the Zora armor", Muzu nagged, "countless generations of Zora princesses have gifted that armor to the one they have sworn to marry, Princess Mipha made the one with her own hands, it is far too important to entrust to them, they may be champions, the new rulers of Hyrule, but why should they recieve such an honor",

"Do not mind Muzu, he had been the one to educate Mipha in the past", King Dorephan explained, "ever since we lost her to the Calamity, he has grown to despise Hylians, I hope you can forgive his rudeness",

"It's alright... I intend to keep my promise", Kate reassured

"Thank you... if you both don't mind, please speak with Muzu when you get the chance", King Dorephan asked as the three nodded their heads and left the throne room, walking back into the Domain in search of Muzu.
