Divine Beast, Vah Ruta

"Mother, that was amazing, what you did back there" Sheik stated, after a quick change into the Zora armor, the three were currently out, trying to find Muzu

"With my studies, and my father's lectures, I'm prepared for it", Kate said

"Lectures", Sheik asked

"From what I can remember, Kate was known as the wayward princess, would often abandon her duties to help either myself, or her sister", Link explained, "and when she'd return, the king wasn't too happy with her",

"I see", Sheik said as the three approached the Statue of Mipha, both Muzu and Sidon were there, Muzu took a glance at the three

"Hmph, you came all the way down here, but it was in vain, I have no desire to speak with you", Muzu stated

"Listen well, Muzu, there is something you need to know", Sidon explained, "he who stands here... the man called Link... is the one whom my sister, Mipha, had feelings for, I was only a child then, so I did not know it myself at the time, but it is so, I grew up hearing my father tell stories, some of which were about my sister's undying love for a Hylian named Link, when she found out that he was married, she backed off, but stayed close",

"What, no... you cannot fool me with such a fanciful lie, not this Zora", Muzu stated, "how could Lady Mipha possibly have feelings for a Hylian like him, the facts are clear, he remembers nothing, even when he looks upon Princess Mipha's statue",

"It is the truth Muzu, though you never knew it, he was in Mipha's heart", Sidon said, the three gazed at Mipha's Statue, Link then began remembering Mipha as Kate couldn't help but give a sad look, throughout her time before the calamity, she never knew of Mipha's feelings for Link, yet, she never had any hate for her, both were best friends till the end

"What's the matter, are you unwell", Sidon asked, snapping the two out of their thoughts

"No, I'm fine... sorry" Kate reassured

"I remember Mipha", Link said, earning the four's attention

"WHAT", Muzu shouted, "do not mistake me for a fool, Hylian, there is no way you remembered her just now, when it is most convenient, you have no proof, I cannot possibly take your word, if you have proof, now is the time to show it",

"Muzu, look at what Link is wearing", Sidon asked

"You really think that's going to make me... Eh", Muzu said "the Zora armor, Lady Mipha made that by hand... and yet, it fits you perfectly, what is the meaning of this",

"Now you understand, do you not", Sidon asked, "now you know who her heart belonged to and who she made this special armor for, this armor is proof enough that she made it for him and him alone, you've disliked Hylians, even before the Great Calamity, that is why Mipha never told you",

"Hmph, I never would have imagined she would make that special armor for one such as he", Muzu said, gazing up at Mipha's statue, "I do not approve of asking for help from a Hylian, but I suppose it is our only option at this point, I am a proud Zora, that means I must take responsibility for my unwarranted behavior towards you",

"All is forgiven... but how can we reach Vah Ruta", Kate asked

"Near that mountain, you will find the Reservoir, do you think you three can appease it", Muzu asked

"Why do you still doubt them, Muzu, I have no doubt they will be triumphant", Sidon stated in a calm tone then looking at the three, "I know we can do this, let's stop it's onslaught",

"Let's do this", Sheik said as Sidon nodded his head, as Sidon began making his way to the Reservoir, Link, Kate, and Sheik followed behind him, a few minutes later, the four were now near the Divine Beast, its once blue features, now red and corrupted by the Calamity, Sidon jumped into the water, the three carefully grabbing onto Sidon who began swimming fast, Vah Ruta began shooting Ice at the four which Kate deflected using her Sheikah Slate, as Sidon swam near, Link swam upward and shot at Vah Ruta, overtime, all three switching positions, not long after, Vah Ruta seemed to calm down, allowing Sidon to swim over to the opening of the Divine Beast and drop the three off

"Here we are, looks like this is where the real work starts, best of luck", Sidon said, "Show the enemy no fear, I'll see you all back at Zora's Domain, farewell",

the Divine Beast rose up, separating the three from Sidon, walking up to a podium, both Link and Kate held their Sheikah Slates to it, activating it

"You're here... I must say... that I am so happy to see that this day has finally arrived", now Ruta can be freed of Ganon's control,

"Mipha", both Link and Kate muttered in unison

"Come on... let's go save her and the Divine beast", Sheik stated making both Link and Kate nod their heads, a second later, the three ran inside the Divine Beast, only to see malice around the area, everything seemed to be shut down, yet the three kept their guard up, and finally made their way to the central terminal, before they could activate it, Malice shot out, a blight Ganon appearing, Waterblight Ganon

"Please take care, that... thing is one of Ganon's creations, I put up much of a fight as I could, but it proved to be my demise 100 years ago... regardless... I believe that you all are well prepared for this moment... I have faith in you all",

"Don't worry, Mipha, we'll save you", Kate muttered, the three pulling their weapons out, plan one to the three... stay out of the giant spear's reach... plan two...take caution of where he moves, and three... defeat the blight, everyone carefully charged forward, fighting and at other times, shooting at him from afar with a bow, eventually, Waterblight Ganon removed the floor of the room, giving the three little room to fight, but in the end, the three were able to defeat him, it shrieked, malice seeping out of it as it soon exploded, clearing the Malice from the central terminal, with the blight and malice gone, both Link and Kate activated the terminal, the red on Vah Ruta turned Blue, Vah Ruta was free

"Hello, Link, Kate, because of your courage, my spirit is now free, and Ruta, as well, thank you", Mipha said, appearing in the room, "for I am now allowed by this freedom... to be with you all once again, since I am now a spirit, my healing power would be wasted on me, I have no need of it, so therefore... I would like you to have it, Link, I'm sorry, my friend, but I can only give it to one... please accept... Mipha's Grace",

a small blue orb appeared in front of Mipha and flew into Link

"Yesterday, I was awash in a pool of tears, I had nearly given up hope and resigned myself to being trapped here, as a spirit, for the rest of eternity", Mipha stated, "but now you're here, with another... all this time, my hope... was to see you two once more, promise me that you will not hesitate to call upon my power if you ever find yourselves in need, knowing that... will let my spirit rest in peace",

"We will... I promise", Link said

"I must go, Ruta and I have our roles to fulfill", Mipha explained, "we are both honored to be able to play the role of support, we'll annihilate Ganon together, farewell, save her, my friends, save the princess... save Princess Zelda",

Link, Kate, and Sheik were enveloped in a bright light, as it died down, the three were now outside the Divine Beast, Vah Ruta disappeared into the water, only to appear on the cliff, aiming a laser toward Hyrule Castle, at the Throne Room, where the Calamity was at, One Divne Beast was free, three more were left

"Now, that was cool", Sheik said

"Come on, let's report to King Dorephan about Vah Ruta", Link stated as Kate nodded her head, not long after, the three set out for the throne room of Zora's Domain
