Legend of Zelda, Age of Calamity

The Calamity's Invasion

(Days Till Calamity, 0)

The day had arrived, Hyrule Castle and Castle Town had been evacuated, the four Champions in their Divine Beasts, prepared for the attack, meanwhile, only King Rhoam, Zelda, Kate, Link, Impa, and a few Hylian soldiers remained at the castle, Link, Kate, Zelda, and Impa were on their way toward the main gates of the castle.

"So many are awaiting my inner power, believing in me", Zelda explained, "this is my last chance",

"Princess, it'll all work out", Impa reassured, "everything will just... align at the Spring of Wisdom",

"Time to head out", Zelda said, her gaze looking toward the Throne Room, right before the four could leave, Terrako ran up to the group, the second Sheikah Slate in its grasp

"The Second Sheikah Slate", Impa said

"Something must have happened", Zelda said as she took the slate, only for another earthquake to hit

"Oh-no", Kate muttered

"It cannot be", Zelda said, the four turning their heads toward the skies, the Calamity was here, surrounding Hyrule Castle

"Father's still in the Throne Room", Zelda said running back towards the Throne Room

"Zelda, wait", Kate shouted, running after her, Link and Impa soon joining the two, fighting the many monsters the Calamity had brought to the castle and defeating the guardians the Calamity took over, soon, the four reached the Throne Room, a few guards were there fighting a few monsters, and three guardians, but King Rhoam was nowhere to be found, defeating the guardians, the four were led to a secret passage

"Best bet out of here is through the library, then toward the great hall to the main gates", Kate explained

"Lead the way", Link said as both Zelda and Impa nodded in agreement as the four quickly made their way into the library, defeating the Corrupted Guardians along the way, reaching the great hall and soon, outside

"Almost there", Kate muttered, Impa had ran ahead to secure the front gates from any Corrupted Guardians or monsters lurking around while Link and Kate were helping Zelda, soon, both skidded to a stop when a guardian beam shot at them, missing them, but hitting the stone around the front gates

"Stay back", Link ordered, ready to deflect another guardian beam, only for King Rhoam to take it out

"Father", Zelda called out, relieved that he was safe

"Go, now", King Rhoam ordered

"But...", Kate began

"Link, you may be my son in law, but you are still the knight to Princess Zelda, I trust that you understand your duty", King Rhoam stated

"Yes, your majesty", Link said, grabbing both Zelda and Kate's wrists, the three running toward the main gates, though he wanted to stay and help, King Rhoam was right, his duty as a knight came first

"But father", Zelda called out

"No", Kate shouted

"Link, let go", Zelda protested, trying to get out of his grip, but to no avail, as the three ran out the gates of Hyrule Castle, an explosion rang out, sending shock into the three, fleeing Castle Town, the four, including Terrako observed Hyrule Castle from afar, the Calamity ran around, sending Guardians out, Hyrule Castle and Hyrule Castle Town was now a playground for the Corrupted Guardians, from the Sheikah Slates, the Divine Beasts were also taken over, the blue was now red.

"I have... failed", Zelda said, in shock, "all of Hyrule... my friends... even my own father... it's my fault... why won't it awaken for me", Terrako began playing Zelda's Lullaby in an attempt to calm her down, but it wasn't working, "everything... everything I've done...ultimately... all of it was for naught", Zelda's Lullaby stopped playing, Terrako began glowing as a beam of light shot out from him, from that beam five separate beams dispersed into the sky and disappeared, leaving everyone shocked at what just happened.

"Look", Impa said, Divine Beast, Vah Medoh was still flying, it's blue lights flickering, Ganon hadn't taken full control over them yet, there was still time.

"Can we... still do this", Zelda muttered

"All is not lost, we can still do something, come on", Impa reassured, walking away

"Sis, Hyrule looks to you and Link now, but I will be by your side as you've been with mine", Zelda stated

"Thanks, sis", Kate muttered, looking down at the ground

"What should we do first, your majesty", Link asked as Kate let out a sigh, then, a look of determination came onto her face.

"Impa is right, we haven't lost yet", Kate explained, "the Divine Beasts aren't in Ganon's control yet, so let's go save our friends before that happens",

"Let's head out", Zelda said as the three raced toward Impa to catch up

(Meanwhile, 100 years into the future)

The five beams of light appeared in the skies, one racing toward Zora's Domain, the second to Death Mountain, the third to the Gerudo Desert, the fourth toward Rito Village, and the last beam of light raced toward Hyrule Castle.
