Legend of Zelda, Age of Calamity

The King, Alive

"Your Majesty", a soldier shouted, running into the Fort, toward Zelda and Kate, kneeling down before them, "our soldiers... on the Great Plateau... in a fierce battle... need aid",

"Alright, our fight isn't over, we must hurry", Zelda stated as Kate nodded her head

"I'm sorry, Your Highness... but it's too far, even if we left right away...", Impa began

"Blah, blah, blah", Purah interrupted, "I just so happen to have some good news to share, go ahead... and behold",

"The tower", Kate asked in confusion

"See that terminal over there, I used it to fiddle with the control unit, the one that's in the castle", Purah explained, "and of course, I was successful, I managed to reactivate all of the towers, impressive, right, and I also upgraded the teleportation functionality",

"Let's be off to the Great Plateau", Link said as everyone nodded thier heads, making their way to the Sheikah Tower, Purah managed to teleport everyone to the Plateau, there, everyone began fighting and aiding the captains, there, the road to the Temple of Time was blocked off, forcing a Yiga Clan Member, and Terrako to make their way toward the Shrine of Resurrection, so they could activate it, and use it to reach the Temple of Time, where other soldiers were stuck fighting a hard battle.

"The Shrine of Resurrection has been activated", a Yiga Clan member announced, making his way back to the group

"Everyone, to the tower", Kate shouted

"We must provide assistance", Zelda added, half of the army with them staying behind as the rest joined the group at the Sheikah Tower, there, Purah activated the Tower, the Plateau disappearing, and everyone re-appearing inside the Shrine.

"Let's go", both Link and Kate said in unison, the group running out of the Shrine and toward the Temple of Time, aiding the other Hylian Captains along the way, meanwhile the others took out the oncoming enemies on the lower half of the Plateau, meanwhile everyone heard of a mysterious person fighting alongside everyone, as the battle ended, both Zelda and Kate decided to meet him; arriving inside the Temple of Time, the two sisters saw King Rhoam, their father, alive, the sisters held their hands together as they approached, later running toward him

"Father", Zelda asked as King Rhoam turned around, a smile on his face

"You're alright", Kate said, a smile appearing on both hers and Zelda's faces

"It is all thanks to this", King Rhoam said, holding out a device that he had taken from Zelda a few days back, "this little thing saved me, as the Guardians had us surrounded, it began to glow, when they fired, I held it out, it became a shield, defending not just myself, but the soldiers who were with me as well, your heart... your boundless compassion, with those precious gifts, you have saved my life, while I had accused you both of evading your duties... in truth, perhaps I was guilty of the same, forgive me",

"That's not...", Zelda began, wiping her tears away, "Father... you've always loved us... everything you've done has always been for us",

"Father, let us help you carry the burden you've shouldered all this time", Kate asked, Zelda nodding her head inn agreement

"Zelda, Kate, you are my pride... and indeed, the pride of all Hyrule", King Rhoam explained, "Zelda, with your power, I believe you will seal away Calamity Ganon, and Kate, with your knowledge and skills, and with Link by your side, will help aid Zelda in sealing Calamity Ganon, now, let us rally our forces for a final push, troops from all regions shall gather at Hyrule Field, alongside my daughters, we will retake Hyrule Castle",

the soldiers cheered, ready for the final battle that was coming, not long after, the soldiers left the Temple of Time to prepare and be ready at Hyrule Field

"Zelda, Kate", King Rhoam called out, both sisters turning toward their father, "I would like both of you to lead this battle",

"Understood", both Zelda and Kate said in unison

"Kate, I have heard that you took up the crown while I was away", King Rhoam said, "you have made an excellent Queen in my absence, but there is something I can not overlook... is it true that you and Link have a son",

"...Father... I can explain", Kate began, panic on her face

"No need, I already know all about him; here, he is yet to be born, as he is also here now as an adult", King Rhoam stated, "...I am willing to overlook this on one condition... I would like to meet my future grandson",

"Of course,", Kate said, as then the three left the Temple of Time, and found Sheik, upon seeing King Rhoam, Sheik grew nervous but kept it hidden well, King Rhoam asked a lot of questions, but welcomed Sheik with open arms, not long after, the armies left the Great Plateau, heading down to Hyrule Field for the final battle, to seal Calamity Ganon.
