The Siege of Fort Hateno and Zelda's Powers

Arriving at Fort Hateno, Revali and Urbosa's Divine Beasts helped them reached the fort; but more monsters and guardians kept appearing, with the help of Mipha and Daruk's Divine Beasts, all were able to take on the never-ending guardian army, allowing the group passage forward; there, Fort Hateno was close to falling, forcing everyone to separate, Impa and Sheik made their way to the Fort to keep it from being overtaken as Link, Kate, and Zelda assisted the fighting Hylian Captains, soon reaching the Fort to help defend it; as they were running through, a familiar laughter could be heard, turning around, the group saw Astor standing a few feet behind them

"Your thread will be cut here, Your Highness", Astor sneered, activating his orb, then, the Blights reappeared

"Impossible", Zelda said in shock as Thunderblight Ganon charged forward

"Kate, with me", Link said, as Kate nodded her head

"Impa, Sheik, get Zelda out of here", Kate ordered, she and Link running forward, deflecting Thunderblight Ganon's attack as the Blights surrounded both of them

"Go, now", Link shouted

"Princess, come with me", Impa said, dragging Zelda away

"We can't leave them", Zelda stated

"If they die, I die", Sheik muttered, earning Zelda's attention, Sheik stopped running, then ran back, aiding Link and Kate, Zelda looked back, watching the three fight, they were outnumbered

"I must act", Zelda said, sliding out of Impa's grasp, and running toward the three

"Princess", Impa shouted, but it fell deaf to Zelda's ears as she kept running toward Link, Kate, and Sheik

"Link... Kate... Sheik...", Zelda muttered, growing closer, 

"GUUUYS", Zelda shouted, outstretching her right hand, the Triforce of Wisdom resonated, a golden glow emitting from her hand, taking out the Blights and forcing the others to shield their eyes

"That light", Astor muttered in shock, the golden light grew, shutting down most of the Corrupted Guardians,

"Sis, you did it", Kate said in excitement as Zelda smiled, it was a short one as more Corrupted Guardians began coming back in

"Let's finish this battle", Zelda stated as everyone nodded their heads, both Impa and Sheik stayed behind at the Fort again, as the three ran out, finding Purah, and protecting her as she moved through the battlefield, toward a device that would shut down any guardian within the area and keep Fort Hateno safe, with the device on, the Guardians were shut down, the battle was over, dawn came in and the Fort still stood, the injured soldiers were given help as others began repairing the Fort the best they could, from above, Kate observed, her eyes landing on Link and Sheik who were talking.

"Sis, may we speak", Zelda asked, walking up to Kate

"Yeah, everything ok", Kate asked

"Yes, I happened to overhear something that cast light on our new companion", Zelda stated, her gaze looking right at Link and Sheik

"He says that Link and I are his parents... I'm still trying to wrap my head around it", Kate muttered

"When you and Link were fighting the Blights, I heard him say, "if they die, I die", I think I know what he meant", Zelda explained, "Kate, I think Sheik is inside you right now",

"Wait, what", Kate asked, turning her head toward Zelda in shock

"It makes sense with his words, even Sidon agrees, he told me of what happened", Zelda stated

"I see...", Kate said in shock, Zelda then put her hand on her shoulder

"If you're worried about what's to come, it will be alright, we'll pull through this, all of us", Zelda reassured

"Thanks, sis", Kate said with a smile

"The soldiers want to hear you speak", Zelda said as Kate sighed nervously

"Would you join me", Kate asked

"Of course,", Zelda said with a smile as both stood, overlooking the soldiers

"Everyone, hear us now", Zelda announced, gaining everyone's attention

"With Calamity Ganon awakened, we all stand at the threshold of the unimaginable", Kate explained, "despite all that... we can't give into defeat, we mustn't despair",

"We must stand and fight", both Zelda and Kate said in unison

"Hyrule wields the Divine Beasts and their Champions, we are armed with the knights who swords seal the darkness", Zelda explained, "and... we shall strike with you, you brave soldiers",

"Our father may be gone, but you're mine to lead now, mine and Zelda's", Kate stated, "Calamity Ganon will be sealed away forever with the power Zelda possesses, together, standing in strength, we begin our march... to rescue all of Hyrule",

the soldiers raised their swords and began cheering for the two, the group smiling, both sisters smiling at each other as they soon left, going back down to the ground, where the rest of the group met up with the two.

"Nice job, you two", Impa said

"Thank you", Kate said, not long after, everyone began taking, Link and Kate talking a few feet away from the group

"Kate, is it true that your...", Link began as Kate nodded her head

"Pregnant, yes, I just found out today", Kate said

"Sheik told me", Link said

"Zelda overheard Sheik say something during the battle, and put two and two together", Kate explained, "I'm happy, I really am, but I can't help but worry with everything going on",

"I understand", Link said, not long after, a soldier came up to Kate, asking to talk with her and Zelda in private, both agreed, with Link and Impa coming along,

"Well then, what did you want to tell us", Zelda asked, the guard said nothing, but jumped into the air, the soldier turning into Kohga, the four drew their weapons as Kohga knelt in front of them, everyone gave each other a look, no one knew what was going on

"I ask for a truce... that man, Astor, takes the souls of our fallen friends... fueling the Calamity", Kohga explained, "as we are all in for the Calamity, we also honor our dead, please... allow us to work alongside you",

Kate turned her head toward the others, seeing what they thought, although hesitant, the group nodded their heads, putting their weapons away, Kate held her hand out, shocking Kohga

"A truce will be made, you will help us defeat the Calamity, if you, or any of your clan backstab anyone, this truce will be over", Kate explained, Kohga didn't hesitate, grabbing Kates hand and getting up,

"Welcome to Hyrule's side", Kate said as the five made their way back to Fort Hateno, to tell the Hylian soldiers about the truce.
