The library was huge! Rows of shelves stood in front of him. Made of the same metal as the rest of the Castle. On one side were electronic tablets, most likely the ones Coran was talking about. Right next to him were these glasses. They looked like a mix of shades and screens. Lance picked one up and put it on. Turns out, they were some sort of visual translator. Most likely for when foreign guests visited. He kept them and browsed the books before him.

There were a few interesting ones. The fiction section had Altean tales that ranged from myths that existed on Altea, to space adventures. Then he wandered into the other section of books. Non-fiction biographies, science journals, and history records. Lance decided that he wanted to learn more about the planet his friends came from. So, he started digging in the records.

After a few minutes he found 'A History of the Royal Family'. Lance picked it up. He guessed that it was about Allura's family. He flipped through it, finding out some rather interesting things. Including some things that Keith would consider to be blackmail. Then he came to a picture. It was of King Alfor and his family. Alfor was holding a young Allura in his arms. Next to him was a woman, Allura's mom. Same white hair, pink markings, and dark complexion. She was holding the shoulders of a young Altean boy. The boy must have been the brother Allura mentioned. White hair seems to run in the family, as well as blue markings. Both Alfor and the boy had them. Lance couldn't put his finger on it, but he felt that he had seen him before.

Lance shrugged the feeling off. Allura had said that he died. There was no way he could recognize someone who had died thousands of years before he was born. Maybe he just looked like someone on Earth. Humans and Alteans looked similar enough. Lance put the book away. Realizing how hungry he was, he left the library and headed for the kitchen.

Time skip

Lance had gone to bed. Dreams creeping up on him. Most were surprisingly in the library. Searching for something. As for what, he didn't know. Dream Lance was simply tearing trough scroll after scroll. Book after book. Not even reading what was said.

When Lance woke the next day, he wondered what his dream meant. Hopefully, it was nothing bad. Then Allura started yelling on the speakers. Lance scrambled to get ready, get breakfast, and make it to the training room for a team effort against the drones again.
