I was putting away the clothes in the cabinet and was almost done. As soon as I closed the door I felt arms encircle around my waist.

My breath hitched in surprise. But soon I calmed down realizing it was just Arjun.

"Mmmm" I hummed and held onto his arms with mine.

"Say Wife~~" said Arjun in a teasing tone.

He blew in my ear gently and kissed my cheek. Then getting closer to my ear as his nose was touching it, he asked in a husky tone.

"Are you trying to tempt me in this attire? ~" he questioned.

My eyes flew open in shock and looked down. My cheeks felt like they were set on fire. I bet they looked as read as tomatoes.

I was... only wearing Arjun's button up shirt. The worst part was the top buttons weren't fully done either, so it revealed my chest....

But thank God I was at least wearing my shorts. I would have probably passed out by now.

"N-n-nnn-no... y-yo-you g-got iiit w-w-rong. I-I-I just g-got out of the s-s-sh-shower you see." I tried to explain myself as clearly as possible, but I kept on stammering.

I tried to cover the part of my chest, but Arjun grabbed my hands and turned me around. His one hand rested on my waist keeping me glued to his chest. And the other hand made sure I didn't cover myself up.

This is so embarrassing. Waaaahhhhh. My chest is....

The thing is since he is keeping me close to his chest it's squeezing mine and pushing them up....

My pushed my face into Arjun's chest and hid the view from him.

"If this is the surprise then I have to admitted I am quite surprised that my wife is so bold. But I like it." He spoke slowly teasing me.

"....." god I didn't know what to say to this man.

I felt Arjun grab my chin and made me look up. I looked into his eyes and saw them darken.

I gulped and prayed for my future.

"Arjun wait wait.. hold on.. I want to talk about-mmmmfff" before I could continue, I was cut short by Arjun.

More precisely his lips. My face was definitely a tomato now if it wasn't before. It felt like forever as Arjun continued to kiss me.

I felt my legs go weak, so I leaned more of my weight onto Arjun.

"Mmmhhhh" I felt Arjun hum as he pressed me even closer if possible.

"Rrrrrinngnnggngn riinngngngng" a phone started ringing out of nowhere making me jump in surprise in Arjun's arms.

"Huff huff" I tried to take as much oxygen as possible.

Oh, how much I missed you Oxygen. Not that I mind losing you if it means getting to ki— . Gaaah what am I even thinking. I looked to feel the cold aura coming from Arjun as he grabbed his phone and picked it putting it to his ear.

"Speak.... Mmm I see... Can't it wait until tomorrow... What!?....'ok, ok I will be there." I heard Arjun talk in annoyance.

"Arjun...?" I asked slowly grabbing his arm gently.

"I need to go to the company now. There is an emergency." He spoke and shook my hand off before walking towards the closet.

'Hey... don't be so rude... it wasn't my fault....' I thought and pouted.

He changed into a suit quickly after grabbed his socks and put them on. I saw him racing around the room and was about to storm out of the door. But I grabbed his arms and stopped his before he could open the door. Then putting my arms around his neck, I pulled him toward me while going on my tippy toes.

I gave him a quick kiss on the lips and let go.

He looked a bit shocked but smirked after he recovered. He was about to say something, but his phone rang again causing him to frown.

He picked it up and walked out of the door leaving me there standing alone. I bit my lip and let out a sigh as I closed the door behind me.

Well, there goes my surprise... but then again... I don't think there might have been a surprise tonight... if... ya known.

My face heated at the thought of our kiss few mins ago.

Ughhh ok. I need to plan for another surprise. Maybe next time we go on a date together. We haven't gone out together at all since our weeding.

Ok. It's decided then.

I slapped both my cheeks lightly and grabbed my phone. I searched for the local visiting spots for a while.

Maybe I can wear something western this time on the date. I haven't worn those clothes in ages. Then again... I will have to wait until Arjun is free and not bothered by his office emergencies. But I can just plan something for him at home when he gets his next day off. 

'Alright you can do this Anu.' I pepped myself up while turning off the lights. 

I was sleeping sounding until I heard footsteps and a thumping sound followed by muffled cuss words. I sat up and looked at the door, the light was suddenly turned on making me squint, I looked at Arjun as he closed and locked the door, I looked at the clock, it was 2 am.

I looked at the to see Arjun as he turned, seeing me he gave a tired smile. I gave him a smile and stood up to walk towards him, but instead of letting me. Arjun shook his head and stopped me then started get ridding of his tie. He threw his jacket and the tie on the sofa.

He walked in the bathroom... and not a minute later I heard the shower turn on. I sat back on the made myself cozy inside the blanket, while waiting for him to come out. I tried my hardest to fall back asleep but my kept-on drooping.

My eyes started feeling heavy and were about to close by the time I heard the bathroom door open. I saw Arjun's blurry figure enter my eyes, he came near me and saw me dozing off.

While patting my head I felt him draw his face near mine and kissed my forehead. And small smile crept on my face. I hummed in response, and lied down while he went to turn off the lights. 

"Good night meri Jaan." He whispered after he got under the sheets and pulled me into a hug.

I hugged him back and kissed his arm, and before I knew it dozed off into his warm embrace.
