Clark came in with gentleness in his eyes , he placed his hand on my shoulder I flinched slightly but he noticed .
" what's wrong with your shoulder ?"
"It's fine really "
(Clark's pov )
I didn’t know who he was trying to convince me or him " show me " I more like demanded he took his shirt off and I saw his bruised body.
"How did this happen ?"
" patrol ?" He more like asked
" don't lie to me "
"beat up at school but I am fine really"
" why don't you want your father to know?"
" he won't believe me they all think I am just a killer " tears ran down his cheeks , I did the only think I thought I should right now I pulled him into an hug surprisingly he didn't fight back I ignored the raindrops on my shoulder he kept crying for a few minutes when he stopped I noticed he have fallen asleep " dad what are you going to do ?" Jon asked
" I don't know jon he is broken beyond repair we will try to pick him up piece by piece and colin I want you to keep an eye on him "
( colin's pov)
I carried damian to bed and laid him down I was about to leave when he grabbed the back of my shirt "hmm?"
"Stay col" I nodded figuring it would be better to give the brotherly love he never got I crawled in bed beside him and rested my head on the headboard he nuzzled to my chest and I hugged him " hey dames I love you please don't forget that " he nodded and said in arabic " أحبك أيضا يا صديقي " and I laid beside him and hugged him from behind .
( next morning )
I woke up to damian hugging me I managed to get up without waking him.
(Damian's pov )
I woke up to the smell of cooking I got up to find colin cooking " oh hey dames did I wake you? " I shook my head no he placed a plate of pancakes in front of me and drew a smiling face on top with syrup
" by the way damian if you are going to stay here often from now on at least go shopping "
" oh no thank you I will leave shopping to my mother hen best friend "
"Hey!" He said acting offended as he sat beside me " wanna get ice cream before I drop you off " I hummed
" yeah that sounds good colin thanks "
