The Land of Commerce, The Waters of Qingce

When you awoke, your head was pounding. It felt like Itto was bashing his massive club against your skull repeatedly. You groaned and tried to get up, but to no avail. Bewildered, you opened your eyes to find Itto's massive bicep on your chest. You managed to lift it off of you, but you wondered how you ended up like that.

Then it hit you.

Oh...

So Itto must have rolled off of you while in his drunken slumber. Good, if he hadn't you might have pissed yourself in bed. After thinking that thought, you immediately had to relieve yourself. So, you quickly navigated around the vessel. The morning sun shone as you stepped up the stairs from the living quarters to the deck. You quickly located the restroom and uh- y'know...

Now that you had finished up, you realized that you were still wearing a nightcap. It was a knitted cap that was gifted to you by Kazuha's friend before he died. It's one of the last memorials that exist of him besides his Electro Vision. You took it off and clutched it tightly to your chest, remembering the good times you spent with Kazuha, his friend, and the other islanders. With a sigh, you left the restroom and exited back to the deck.

There, Beidou was up bright and early. You were up early too, but not very brightly. She was fully dressed and it seemed like she had already brushed any tangles that would've ended up in her hair from lying down. Captain Beidou was ready to roll. Meanwhile, you were still holding on to a nightcap.

Beidou noticed you and waved. "Ahoy!" She greeted, before hunching over in laughter. "I'm just kidding, good morning! You feel the headache yet?" She asked, knowing the answer. You still answered, letting her know that you had an obvious hangover and some serious head pain. Beidou threw her hand out in front of her while laughing. She tossed you a vial of an orange liquid.

"Drink it. Always helps me." The captain said with certainty, looking at you expectantly. You shrugged and gulped it down. The smell and taste of citrus overwhelmed you and nearly made you choke. It was so strong that it burned! But... but it did feel like your head lost a few pounds. You smiled gratefully and thanked her. She shook her head and placed her hands on her hips. "No problemo, buddy! I'm your captain after all."

That was nice to hear.

You went down to the living quarters and walked past other cells to find the room with Itto inside. He was still sleeping peacefully on the mattress, occasionally mumbling. You closed the door behind you quietly and began to pack up your stuff. Behind you, Itto grumbled and began to stir. "Nnngh..." He whined. "My head- ow... Y/N... Ah- Y/N? Where'd you- oh... Good morning." Itto laughed awkwardly, trying to play it off as if nothing happened.

You'd let it go this time.

"Morning, Itto, how are you feeling?" You greeted, not caring to look back. You still need to get everything into your bag. "Uh... my head hurts, but other than that I feel the same as ever; amazing." Good to know that he wasn't completely incapacitated by his hangover. You finished getting your previously unpacked belongings back together and slipped a paper in your pocket. You turned around to see Itto, wiping drool off of his chin.

"You packed up. Glad to have a good homie like you." Itto acknowledged happily, standing up. He didn't have his usual outfit on. It wasn't like you hadn't seen him completely shirtless or that he didn't constantly show off his muscles... But it still caught you off guard and you looked away from him out of respect. Itto laughed and walked over to you. "You don't gotta turn away from me, Y/N. People stare, I'm used to it. And plus, who would wanna miss out on all of this eye candy? Eh? Heh..." Itto said while placing his hand on your shoulder, like a bro.
