"The Epilogue" is usually the authors final statement(s) that come at the end of the story. And with a heavy heart, i suppose this is truly it.
I'm sure you've all heard the news by now. Boudine and I are just as heartbroken as the rest. None of this — including the two of us even being in contact — would be possible without the show we all hold so dearly in our hearts.
We are grateful beyond words to all of you fantoms for reading, re-reading, re-re-reading, and even sometimes re-re-re-reading this story (guilty as charged) to your hearts' content. To all the mutuals i've made, laughs i've shared, and comments that made me fear Charlie and/or Owen ever finding this story, it's been a blessing.
With the cancellation now being official, we truly feel honored to know that so many of you have taken this story to be a little piece of the what-could've-been season 2 we unfortunately will not getting.
You've all truly made our love for the show and writing worthwhile.
