A QUICK WORD & LIFE UPDATE -- PLEASE READ

Before we get into this, I want to start off by saying you guys' amazing comments and love for the story do not go unnoticed. My co-writer Boudine and I are thrilled everyday with the response from you guys about how many times you've read the story and how much you love it. Your kind words make the thought of an ending bittersweet.

Now to the meat and potatoes of this thing...

A few life updates:

For me personally, a bit has happened since the last part was posted. Most of you know by now that I am in my senior year of college. I had a couple big projects and a couple midterms due for my classes, so that ate up quite a bit of my time. Soon after that, the guy that I had been seeing and I decided to call off the relationship we had going and chose to remain just friends. It was a short-lived thing and I'm fine now but when it happened, my friends and family were telling me that I needed a weekend of just not thinking about anything and letting myself process emotions. So, writing a love story / ending of a love story wasn't the best thing for me lol -- it was a touchy subject for a second as you can imagine. Then, it was hitting the end of the semester and I began focusing all of my time into final homework assignments and projects and final exams. Long story short: my plate was pretty darn full for a while.

On behalf of my co-writer: Boudine had her own school applications that she was swamped with as deadlines of essays and other things quickly approached. Now, she is currently dealing with a COVID-19 outbreak where she lives that has, unfortunately, affected her world personally. As of right now she is feeling fine, and is quarantining per her country's guidelines. I kindly ask that y'all join me in keeping her health and well-being in your hearts as we hope that she isn't affected badly.

The two of us never meant to leave you guys stranded on an island of wondering when the next part(s) were going to be published, it just so happened that we became very overwhelmed with our personal lives at the same time.

With that being said...

A few story updates:

First, you may notice something different with the titles. All of the content that you have read before is completely the same, I just decided to change the number system so it had more of a cleaner look lol. Nothing to worry about there.

Second, now that I am all done with my finals and don't need to worry about classes for a little while, I can focus on writing again!!! (and a few good things have been cooked up, too... no spoilers just trust me)

If all goes as planned, the next part of the story should be uploaded just before next weekend! I will be using this coming week ahead of me to really put myself back in the world of the story to give you guys an amazing chapter that you deserve after waiting so long and being so patient with me and Boudine. I'm hoping to have it up by Friday, December 25th (Merry Christmas to those of you reading who celebrate lol).

It should be known that the story is, unfortunately, coming to a close. There are only a handful of parts left until the end of this thing, and believe me when I say I'm a lot sadder parting with this than I thought I'd be when I first began writing this. The love y'all have shown for this story and the writing has been astonishing and appreciated more than you guys will ever know. I never expected to make any sort of impact on any part of the fandom like this, but I've somehow managed to make Luke&Alex shippers out of a lot of you guys ahaha.

Again, a massive massive thank you to every single reader of this story. It's been a privilege getting to read the comments y'all leave (some of which make me hope Charlie and Owen or anyone from the cast never find this story... some of y'all are bold lol).
