The next morning was very intensive in Adventure Bay: after long 4 month rest, Ryder and pups were ready to go back on their job to rescue people. Chase was coordinating pups in morning warm-up as they were doing gym exercises. Truly, the police pup thought that after such a long rest, pups will be very sleepy and not in good mood, which would be very bad, but everything went fine and when they finished with warm-up, everyone were breathing heavily, but with their smile on their faces.
Zuma: Maaan! As much as I hate a little these morning exercises, but now I'm ready to go on patrol for loong time!
Chase: Good! Because it's breakfast time now!
Rubble: Breakfast!!
Rubble ran like a bullet to the Lookout, making other pups laugh as they walked inside. Everest was also with them, since it was very late to return to Jakes' mountain and after breakfast, she was going to get back to Jake. But during their meal, Ryder announced that Everest will join them on todays' patrol and missions for practice, making pups cheer for her. Chase then winked at Marshall, who shyly nodded.
Ryder: Alright. You have 5 minute break, I'll prepare our schedule for today.
Pups exited the Lookout as Chase went to talk with Marshall about asking Everest out, since his chances to do it unexpectedly increased.
Chase: So, do you have any ideas about future date with Everest?
Marshall: I actually don't want to take her anywhere like restaurant, or fair park. Just to hang out, for first time.
Chase: As I understand, you want to conquer her heart little by little?
Marshall: Yeah. I mean, going not too slow, but not too quick.
Chase: You know, it's a very nice idea! As we'll have missions and patrols in our time schedules, you won't have enough time to make preparations for date.
Marshall: Of course. Still, what you'd recomend me to do?
Chase: Just like I said before, be yourself. She enjoys your character, so use it, but not too much.
Marshall: Ok, I got it. Thanks buddy!
Then Marshall walked away as Chase was watching him and suddenly spotted Skye and Everest, realizing that his best friend decided to ask his crush as soon as possible and smiled.
Chase (to himself): My buddy has grown up! How fast time flies.
Skye and Everest were talking about the same thing as Chase and Marshall did and Marshalls' sudden appearance at the end of their talk was a big surprise for husky as Skye slightly gasped.
Skye: He might wants to ask you somewhere to hang out, or even ask out.
Everest: I hope he does!
Skye: Well, I gotta go to Chase. Good luck, bestie.
Everest just looked at Marshall who was approaching her closer and closer and gulped when he was just few meters near her.
Marshall: Hey Eve. You know... as we'll go back on our job today, we won't have much time as before to hang out.
Everest: Yeah I know.
Marshall: Maybe, we could hang out today, after patrol?
Everest: Are you asking me out? (smiles)
Marshall: Well, hehe, it's not a date! But yeah, I want to spend time with you after work.
Everest: Of course we'll hang out! (hugs Marshall)
Sudden hug made Marshall blush, but he hugged her back as suddenly their pup tags lit up.
Ryder: Paw Patrol!! To the Lookout!!
Evershall: Ryder needs us!!
They ran to the elevator where rest of pups were waiting for them as Marshall suddenly slipped on tennis ball, which caused him to crash into Everest and they smashed into other pups.
Marshall: Couple goals.
Pups laughed as elevator went up on top floor of Lookout and moments later, pups were standing in front of Ryder.
Chase: Paw Patrol, ready for action Ryder sir!
Ryder: Thanks! Glad to be back on our job as a rescue team. Let's get it started!
Pups: *cheer*
Ryder: So, Chase, Skye and Zuma. You're going to patrol Adventure Beach and west side of town. Rubble and Rocky, you're going to check on Farmers Yumi and Al and east side of town. Marshall and Everest, lucky pups: Jakes' mountain and town center are under your control.
Marshall: I'd like to check on Jake first and tell him that Everest is OK and she's with us.
Everest: Yeah!
Ryder: That's actually a good idea! Alright! Paw Patrol is on a roll!!
