~jades pov~

School finally finished and we all headed home.

Beck was driving us both to his RV like he does everyday when I got a call, it was from my dad (William).
"Who's calling you" beck asked
"My dad" I said, he never calls me

I answered the call.
The call:
Jade: what do you want
William: don't talk to me like that but anyway I would like you to meet my new wife tonight
Jade: ugh seriously
William: yes you have to come and you better be on your best behaviour
Jade: fine but I'm bringing beck
William: nope he's not coming just you
Jade: whatever

I hung up the call, beck is still coming even if my dad said no.

"So what did he want" beck said
"He want me to meet his new wife" I replied
"Want me to come?" Beck offered
"Yes please" I said
"When is it" he questioned
"Tonight" I answered

~at jades house- jade pov~

We arrived at my house and knocked on the door, my little brother opened the door.
"JADEYYYYY!!" He exclaimed
"Don't call me that" I snapped
"Sorry" he apologised "beck!" He noticed beck standing next to me
"Hey buddy" beck smiled

We went through the house and into the kitchen.
"Jade" my dad said
"Father" tension was already building
"I thought I said beck couldn't come" he said
"Since when do I listen to you, your lucky I even came"
"Don't give me attitude young lady"
I rolled my eyes at him.
"Anyway when's whatever her name is getting here"
"Any second"

Knock knock

"Ah she's here now be good" he went over to answer the door

A blonde, tall, slim lady walked into the house with two kids about ages 9 and 5.
"Hello William" she said smiling
"Hi darling" my father said putting on some act that he was nice or something "are these your kids?"
"Yes this is Lucy shes 4 and this is Alex and he's 9" she introduced them

They walked into the room we were in and saw that there were three (we heard the conversation since the door was open)
"Guys this is your new stepmom her name is Jenifer"
"Hey guys what's your names" she asked
"Hiiiiii!! I'm Jayden!" My brother said
"Hi Jayden" she grinned "and what's your guys name"
"I'm jade this is my boyfriend beck" I said fake smiling
"I'm the boyfriend" beck waved
"They're so cute together!" Jayden said "they're perfect for each other", that made me smile a little bit
"So Jayden, jade and beck" she pointed to each of us
"Yep"
"These are my kids Lucy and Alex" she introduced them to us, then my dad walked in
"Actually jades name is jadelyn" he said
"I told you I hate that name so call me jade!" I said loudly
"Your mother gave you that name so respect it and her for giving you that name!"He yelled
"Yeah the same mother who ditched me and Jayden a year after he was born some mother she is!" I argued
"You take that back young lady!"
"No! How do you expect me to respect her when she left us and haven't heard from her in years!" I shouted
"WELL YOUR NAME OS JADEYLN SO THATS WAHT I'LL CALL YOU!"
"DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT JUST BY A FEW CLICKS I CAN LET EVERYONE KNOW WHAT KIND OF-" I started to shout as well
"Jade why don't we go to your room" beck interrupted grabbing my hand and dragging me up the stairs

We made it to my room and we sat down on the bed.
"God I hate him"
"I know you do and I do as well but please just calm down" beck said
"No don't tell me to calm down!" I said
"Jade just listen to me"
"What"
"I know you hate him but your new stepmom seems to really like him so at least just put on an act for tonight" he tried convincing me
"She's probably just using him for the money and I tried putting on act in the beginning but my dad he just got to my head and I snapped"
"At least try get along with her"
"No it's not that easy"
"Why not you act and your great at it"
"Beck it's just if I make my dad seem like a more of a great man than she thinks he is then she's gonna stay"
"What's so bad about that"
"She has two kids two and they both are young so I'm going to be left to babysit"

Knock knock

"What"
"Jadey can we come in" my brother said opening the door slightly
"Ugh fine"

The kids came in and sat on their floor and just stared at beck and I, it was weird.
"What do you want"
"We just wanna hang out with you guys" jayden said standing up
"What do you want" I repeated
"Well I've been telling Lucy and Alex how perfect you are together and they want to know more about you guys"
"So you want to know how we met and stuff" beck said
"Yep"
"No" I said
"Jade c'mon they're interested" beck said
"I don't want to, we go through this so many times and I'm not telling the story again"
"Then I'll tell it"
"Go ahead then"
"So what do you guys wanna know"
"Ummm how many times did you have to ask jade out because the turns everyone down" Jayden asked
"Well it was around a total of 18 times before she agreed to go on a date" beck told them 

They kept asking beck questions and I was getting a little bit bored but then they asked me a question and I really didn't want to answer it.
"Jade what made you agree to going out with beck" Alex said and they all turned their heads towards me
"Yeah jade I wanna know because I never actually heard the reason" beck said intrigued
"He got annoying with keeping on asking me out and saying 'please jade just come on a date with me just one and I promise we never have to do it again just go out with me' so I finally agreed" I mocked beck
"I know there's more" beck said
"Anyway why do you wanna know"
"You've never told me and I've never thought about why can't you just tell us"
"God your like a whiny kid"
"Pleaseeee jade" the girl her name is Lucy I think begged
"FINE of you guys shut up"
"Soooo what's the answer" beck said
"I honestly don't know there's just something about him that made me want to and I guess he knew how to treat me well" I confessed
"Now I've said that beck why did you want to ask me out and continued when I kept turning you down" I said
"Well jade your different, not easy and I don't like easy it to boring, you weren't changing yourself for me, your not afraid to say what's on your mind, you tell people your honest opinion which some people think is a negative trait but it shows that your honest so I say it a good trait and your just an amazing person" he said which made me smile a little bit

We kissed for a few seconds.

"Sorry to interrupt but dinner is ready" Jenifer said
"Okay mommy" Lucy said standing up

We went downstairs and ate our food, the tension between my dad and I was a lot so once we finished eating we left.
