My experience as a girl Wrestler

So once it was closer to wrestling season there where quite a few people talking about it but any time I said I was going to do wrestling too people would look at me and say you doing wrestling why. And every time I would look at them and say I am going to do wrestling because it was my step brothers sport and I want to be good at wrestling so that when I see him again and tell him that I did wrestling and that I was actually kind  of good at it and he will be proud of me. I would also get the same reactions when I said I was in karate just because I'm a girl and in not built like a Barbie I am suddenly supposed to lay on the couch and do nothing. And I'm sick of it so I try to do sports girls don't normally do just to prove the world wrong.
