Today is finally the day. The day where I can finally feel Jess in my arms again. The day where I can finally smell her wild roses scent. The day where I can finally forget about Venessa and leave her in my dust.

My flight was in a hour. I packed my things carefully. I took deep breaths as the excitement of seeing Jessie again riddled through my body.

I could barely handle the thought of it. I've missed her so much. I've missed absolutely everything about her and it's painful.

I couldn't wait to hold her in the safety of my arms again. Then tomorrow we leave for the Bahamas.

I have booked us a gorgeous villa suite with a view of the ocean. It is absolutely huge but I know she will like it.

I hate being all cushy like this but I love it when it comes to Jessie. Even though she isn't very cushy herself.

Before departure of leaving, Don requested a meeting. I don't know who it is with but I do know he wanted me to be in it.

I closed my suitcase before leaving my room and going to the meeting area.

I open the door to see Venessa sitting there with a smug look on her face.

This can't be good.

"Sit down Leo." Dons gruff voice filled my ears.

I complied and took a seat facing him. I kept a straight and emotionless face.

"Your new partner is Venessa. Permanently."

What the fuck.

"No she isn't." I remain calm.

"Yes she is Leo. You can end the whole fake thing with Jessie, your family has left and they bought it." That's when I realized we still hadn't told Don yet.

I knew there had to be a reason to why Jessie hadn't told him yet so I decided to keep it quiet.

"I'm sorry Don, but I've adjusted to Jessie. She is very good at what she does. I don't need a new partner." I argue.

"Well you've worked with both, which one to you think is better." Don explained referring to the two girls.

There was absolutely no doubt that Jessie was better. Venessa only got lucky with her shots, Jess doesn't even have to focus.

"Jessie." I replied avoiding eye contact with Venessa.

"Hm, sorry then Venessa. Your request has been declined. You can leave." Dons rough voice looked down at Venessa.

"What? No I'm way better than her!"  Venessa whined and I got irritated.

"Leave." I demanded in a gruff and toned voice.

Venessa shuttered at my newly found domination and left without another word.

I look to Don before we both nodded and I exited the room aswell. I just wanted to see Jessie again

I rushed upstairs to grab my baggage before descending down the stairs to the cars waiting out front.

I got in the back seat of one and pulled out my phone. I tapped on Jess's contact and texted her.

On my way:)

I hoped she would be as excited about seeing me as I am about seeing her.

These days without her have been dreadful. I missed her so much.

I stared at the screen and awaited her reply. It didn't take long.
