Time: A few weeks later

Connor and Travis Stoll ran as fast as their legs would carry them, towards the Big House, stumbling over each other in an attempt to run faster. Every Camper turned and stared at the two as they passed by, wondering what could've got the two pranksters so hyped.

The twin sons of Hermes looked identical, with sandy blonde hair, brown eyes, and a crooked grin. They were each five foot six tall, and were a bit on the skinnier side. The only mark distinguishing the two was a small star-shaped scar on the left side of Connor's face.

"Chiron! Chiron!" The two shouted.

The Centaur, who was playing pinochle with Dionysus, Percy and Thalia, looked up. Artemis was sitting on a couch to the side, sharpening her daggers without a worry in the world.

He rubbed his face tiredly, while Percy cracked a grin. "What did you two do now?"

"Yesterday, night, we were out scouting on Long Island." Connor started, breaking off to pant. Travis picked up where he left, "On the other side, a huge black-walled fortress, teeming with monsters..."

"HAS COME UP OVERNIGHT!" The two shouted together.

"What?" Chiron stood up, followed by Thalia. Even Artemis looked up, putting her daggers away. Percy let his hand fall to the table, murmuring, "I was going to win."

"They are marching towards Camp now."

Chiron opened his mouth to say something, but was cut off by Percy, who stood up. "Call the Campers. Tell them to prepare for battle. Meet Chiron up here at the Big House with the Cabin Councillors in a few minutes. In the next thirty minutes, all Campers should be assembled at the Amphitheatre. Now RUN!"

The God turned to Chiron. "It seems Unicron has started on the offence. Chiron, ready the Campers. Artemis and Thalia, I want you to lead the archers. You do the planning with the Cabin Councillors, I will contact Mt. Iacon once."

He disappeared inside the Big House, just in time for the Cabin Councilors to arrive.

"Soundwave, open up!" Percy said quickly in hushed tones, sneaking a glance outside. The Campers were discussing strategies outside.

A blue screen shimmered into existence, and Percy was met by the familiar visor of his nephew. "What is the status there?" Percy asked hurriedly.

"Shockwave claims that a large black fortress has arisen twenty miles out in the desert. Later in the day, I confirmed his statement from the watchtower. Laserbeak tried to get close, but there was a force field thwarting his attempts to advance. Shockwave suspects that it is a base for Unicron. Requesting permission to set a ground team to scout out the fortress." Came the reply, in Soundwave's strange metallic voice.

"Tell Team 1 to take a few Hunters and scouts to go. Soundwave, you stay back, and activate the automatic defences for Mt. Iacon. Retrieve all the energon resources that you need from the reserves in Mt. Kaon. I want the ground team out and about right after dark. Disconnecting." Percy swiped his hand, ending the connection, not waiting for his answer. He knew his orders would be carried out.

He walked out to the porch. Everyone was gone. Instead, they were in position on the fields behind Thalia's Pine. Thalia was atop the pine tree, with Artemis in another, and several Apollo Campers with them, scattered through the trees, well hidden by the thick foliage.

The Campers formed rows of not-so-well-trained soldiers, with spears, swords, axes, war hammers, daggers, all sorts of weapons. Chiron in his horse form trotted in front of them, shouting instructions. Peleus curled around the pine atop which Thalia was perched, fiercely carrying out his duty of protecting the golden fleece. Steam curled from his nostrils, and he snorted and fretted, pawing the ground, and letting off sudden small bursts of flame.
