As I walked down the dirt road leading to the school in the city, hand in hand with my dad, I start too get nervous again, my palms start sweating "Nervous again?" He asks stoping too make sure I'm ok "Yeah, I don't like it, will you stay with me?" I ask "I'll stay for a little while but I've got things to do at home, is that ok?" He replys I nod and we continue down the road to the city.
As we approach the school I spot some kids running around in a fenced off area with a slanted bit of metal and some seats on chains, my dad follows my gaze " Those must be some kids from your school, do you want to go play with them?" He asks me, looking down at me "Sure, it looks like fun, I'll see you later dad!" I say starting to run towards the other kids as I hear my dad calling my name, so I turn around and look at him " Wrong way Lexus, follow me!" He says laughing and approaching me, he grabs my hand again and leads me too what looks to be the entrance of the school "Your teacher is Mrs.Luminous, room 5, put your bag there then go play, I'll see you in a few minutes," he tells me " Thanks dad, I think I should be good actually you don't need too stay," I say looking up at him " Ok that's your choice, I'll see you after school, bye I love you," he says pulling me into a tight hug, I hug him back and say, "I love you too dad,"
As I walk off too find room 5 I feel something bump into my shoulder, "Oi watch it!" Says the thing I bumped into, I look up and see it's another student, a bit older than me, "Ah you must be new, 1st year I assume?" The older person says "Yeah its my birthday today, what year are you?" I ask the person "I'm year 6, I'm almost out of this dump, also word of advice, stay out of the big playground it's full of bullies," the person says walking off, as I watch them go I wonder what a bully is, and what the big playground is, "I guess I'll learn that today," I mutter too myself, continuing on my search for room 5.
As I rounded the hallway corner I find a colourful door labeled room 5 I sigh in relief as my legs were starting to get tired.

I enter the classroom and find the walks decorated in colourful drawings numbers and letters, as I walk further into the room I hear a voice "Just put your bag at the back of the room dear," says the voice, I look around too see where the voice was coming from, as I do I spot a person sitting at a desk at a laptop at the front of the room. "I'm Mrs.Luminous, I'll be your teacher this year," says the women " Hi," I reply The women looked young too be a teacher, she had long, shiny, blond hair tied back in a plait snaking half way down her back, her eyes were as blue as the sky and shone like stars when she smiled, her skin looked pale, soft, and healthy, her cheeks a Rosy red, lips plump and full. "You are very beautiful," I say she chuckles "Thanks, enough about me though, what's your name little one?" Says the adult looking away from her computer too focus on me " Uh, my name's Lexus," I respond "Which way is the outside place?" I ask curiously " Just walk out the door and turn left at the water fountain, left is the hand that makes an 'L' when you hold up your index finger and thumb," she says making sure I knew which way too go " Got it, thanks," I say checking what she said with my hands, then I head out of the classroom once placing my bag at the back of the room.
