*No ones POV*
The little girl walked through the school hallways back too her classroom only too find that the class has already started and that she was late.
"Great late on my first day!" She mutters too herself
She reaches for the door handle just as the teacher walked too the door too see if there were any late comers
"Ah, Lexus nice of you too finally show up, take a seat on the mat we were just doing the roll," the teacher says, gesturing too the large colourful mat where the other kids were sitting quietly, watching the scene unfold.
*Lexus POV*
As I go too sit down with the other kids Mrs. Luminous starts too call out the roll, each kid putting their hand up when their name was called, whilst they did this I went and sat at the back corner of the mat next too a kid with glasses and pinkish frizzy hair, then my name was called and I put my hand up so the teacher could see where I was sitting, all the other kids turned too look at me and one sneered
"Ew the new kids sitting with the nerd, don't sit with glasses kid if you want too be cool" said the kid
"I'm fine where I am thanks, but thanks for offer but your not really 'cool' your self mate so you can't say much," I replayed snarkily
"Alright that's enough the pair of you, you can sort this out later," the teacher intervened.
"Looks like someone's got a sharp tounge, thanks by the way, for sticking up for me," whispered the kid I was sitting next too
"Yeah no problem," I whisper back as the teacher gave us a look.
About an hour or so later the bell rings and the teacher let's us out for lunch, I head over too my bag too grab the lunch my dad made for me then dash out the door so as too not get left behind. As everyone heads out too the playground everyone starts too disspearse too their friend groups, as they do so I looked around for the kid I sat next too this morning on the mat.
"Hey Lexus over here!" Some one shouts, as I look around too see who I see the glasses kid waving me down, so I head over too where their sitting and find that there's two or three other kids around our age sitting here too.
"Let me introduce us," the frizzy haired kid says
"I'm Arcus," gesturing too them self
"That's Alex," they say pointing too a kid with dirty blonde curly hair
"And that's Remus - Jane," they say waving at the kid too the kid with freckles and darker skin
"Please, just call me Rj," says the kid with freckles.
"OK, nice too meet you all, I'm Lexus," I say grinning from ear too ear
"Thanks again for this morning Lexus I really appreciate it," Says Arcus as I sit down too have my food
"Yeah like I said no problem, that kid had no right too speak about you like that," I say opening my lunch box
"Word of advice Lexus," says Alex, "Keep out of the hallways once everyone's gone, the older kids like hanging around there too catch any kids wandering around, they are very mean and can cause you a lot of trouble," he continues
"Unfortunately," I say "I've already had a run in with them" I continued while stuffing food into my mouth
"HOW DID YOU SURVIVE!!" say the other three in unision
"What do you mean, they let me go 'this time' they said?" I say looking at them quizzically from their out burst
"They are the schools meanst kids, nobody survives a run in with them without a bruise or black eye!" Explains Arcus, looking at me in shock
"Right, note too self, avoid being in the hallways alone," I say under my breath.
