"Hello?" asked a still sleeping Maya through the phone. It was her day off, and having a really hyperactive almost nine months old baby at home, she really appreciated her sleep
"Hello, It's Leah from foster care" the woman on the other side of the line answer making the blonde wake up immediately
"Hi! Leah how are you?" Maya asked. She had kept in touch with the social worker giving her the paperwork needed, having some meetings with her but they still hadn't gotten any news regarding Ella's case
"I'm good and I have really exciting news" the woman said "Well I got you a provisional foster license" she said and Maya smiled "I know is not the best but once the period is over and if it everything seems well then you'll be able to get a proper foster license"
"Not the best? This is great!" Maya said a little too excited waking her wife up who looked at her with confusion written all over her face "When will be able to bring her home?" she asked and the brunette opened her eyes in shock
"Whenever you are ready really" Leah answered "I'm Ella's social worker so I'm in charge of her case and I think you'll be great for her" she explained "Ella is at a group home right now but as soon as you are ready..."
"We are ready, we'll maybe need a couple of hours..." she said thinking about their spare room that needed to be fixed for the girl "but as soon as possible"
"Okay, well I already have your address so if it's good with you I could drop her off this evening" she said typing some things in her computer, getting the paperwork ready
"That would be great"

Maya was a nervous wreck, she kept walking around what would be Ella's room trying to make everything perfect while Carina looked at her from the door with Andrea in her arms.
The room looked perfect for a four year old girl. There were many stuffed animals, a coloring table and a small corner with some books
The brunette looked at the little boy in her arms who was playing with a lock of her hair and she couldn't help but think of her little Stella

"You are expecting a girl, congratulations" said the man while he pointed at the monitor with his finger "It looks like she's saying hi" he said as he pointed to what seemed to be a little hand
"Hi babygirl" the blonde whispered close to her wife's pregnant belly "I'm your mommy" she said and felt Carina's hand tangled in her hair

"What about Lucy?" Maya said instantly regreting it "Nop, not Lucy"
They had spent the last two hours like this, it was the middle of the night and nothing had convinced them yet, there were some good ones but not their girl's name. It was a beautiful night, thousands of stars lit up the sky
"Look at the stelle" Carina said amazed by the sky above them and then she felt it. A kick. She immediately looked at Maya in shock. The blonde didn't understand what was happening she just felt her wife grab her hand and place her on her belly "Do you like that bella? Stella?" she said and Maya looked at her in shock when she felt the little kick against her hand
"It's perfect" Maya said placing a sweet kiss on Carina's bump "Stella" she whispered now coming closer to her wife placing a kiss on her lips

"Maya!" the blond heard her wife said before she shot up from the bed and run towards the bathroom, where she found her wife. Carina had tears in her eyes, she was in pain and there was a lot of blood
