Beautiful in all her smooth brown splendor,

She greets the day with wide white smiles and cheer.

So willing her services to render,

She graces all who are willing to hear.

Complements and songs to uplift us all,

Mantras celebrating our greatness here,

Hope in the future preventing the fall;

She draws all her brothers and sisters near.

"Just how can you live with yourselves?" she asks,

Wondering why her peers can't see the flaw.

But they wonder how in glory she basks.

The free way she lives makes them stare in awe.

Embrace and love yourself so they will know

You never needed permission to grow.
