CHAPTER 13: This is Crazy!!!

"Now we just have to find the cave right?" Ezekiel said as he landed,

 "No need for that, look!"Alice called out, they all looked towards the direction that she was pointing at and... "it's the cave!" 

And true enough, the very distinctive outline of rocky edges and a giant gaping mouth of a cave was seen. 

"So now we just go get the fruit right, and it isn't even noon yet! We are on a roll people!" Valencia cried out happily, 

"oh no, no no NO! we can't just waltz in and grab the fruit!" Kaiser replied, aghast at what he just heard from his friend

 "um..why not...?" Rubix asked, puzzled,

 "BECAUSE IT IS GUARDED BY A DRAGON, YOU DAFT DEMON!!!" Ezekiel yelled,

 "Oh..right" the demon  said, as Ezekiel continued "EXACTLY!! YOU CAN'T JUST WALTZ UP TO A DRAGON AND BE LIKE 'LET ME THROUGH YOU PREHISTORIC LIZARD!' NO!"

 "oi oi , calm down will ya" the vampire said clearly amused, while patting his friend's back.

 "Ok...ok....look, the only way to get past that thing is to get close enough then..." 

"then what?" the rest of us asked excitedly,

 "...then make a run for it..."

 "WHAT! No we should fight it!"The dark elf said,

 "Tell you what, why don't we go to the cave take a look at the dragon and you decide for yourself how you wanna take that monster down" Ezekiel sighed, then they went in the direction of the cave, and as they neared it's rocky outcropping they saw a shadow, a very BIG shadow, and they all shielded from behind a big rock as they all peeked out trying to figure out what shadow that was,

"NO NO NO NO NO! THERE IS NO WAY IN HELL WE'RE FIGHTING THAT...THAT.....THING!!!" Kaiser shrieked, as a monstrous black and gold fire elemental dragon raised it's terrifying head and gave a roar like thunder, and at this Kaiser's voice went about three decibels higher,

 "dude! keep it down! You want it to notice us!" Alice said as she bonked him on the head, 

"you know Mademoiselle, now wouldn't be a bad time to back out right?" the once confident vampire now stammered, "ugh..i think I'm about to puke..." he said holding his stomach as the dragon gave out another roar,

 " guys come on! We can't give up now! We're almost there!" 

"cupcake's right, the cave's right there, come on let's think of a plan!"

 "how bout' we fly like before?" she asked,

 "you do realize that thing has wings and flaming breath right, pumpkin?" Rubix asked pointedly now regaining his composure, 

"WAIT! Wait, I got it! We wait till it falls asleep then walk around it! It can't follow us into the cave so we- like I said before- make a run for it!" Ezekiel power whispered,

 "Well, we don't have another option so.... I guess we're gonna wait for it to fall asleep" Valencia sighed in relief as Kaiser finished. And they waited, and waited, and waited till it was nightfall and then...
