- Y/N's POV -

Tony wasted no time getting to work on my room. He originally was just going to add a small bedroom to my current room, but apparently he felt that wasn't enough. Instead, Tony decided I needed my own suite so he hired a work crew to turn one of the unoccupied floors in the tower into a full suite like he has. He profusely apologized that it would take weeks to finish, but I truly was in no rush to have a huge space all to myself.

It's been a couple of weeks since Thor left and we are all growing concerned, but there was no way to reach out to Asgard other than attempting to shout to Heimdall. I would occasionally stand out on the helipad and ask Heimdall for updates, but I never received anything back.

The weeks passed by slowly, but I never gave up hope that we'd hear from Thor eventually. Everyone would come and go on various missions, leaving me behind to worry about them and not be able to help. I got in the habit of making dinner for everyone each night so that I felt as if I was helping.

We had just finished dinner and everyone started making their way back to their rooms or to the living room when Tony pulled me aside.

"Kid, your suite is finally finished. Would you like to go check it out?" He had the biggest smile on his face and I couldn't help but laugh.

"Yeah, you've been talking it up for weeks now. It's about damn time I can see it"

Tony rolled his eyes and led me to the elevator. The new suite was one floor below his own, he said he wanted to be able to get to me quickly if I needed help with the baby. The elevator opened to a big open living room that was decorated in neutral colors. There was a full kitchen with an attached dining room just past the living room. There was a master bedroom with an attached bathroom, there was even a guest room that had it's own bathroom as well. The last room he showed me was the most important, the nursery. I walked in and noticed it had a lot of natural light. The walls were a light, sage green and the furniture was a light brown. Tony had already setup a crib, changing table and rocking chair.

I gave Tony a hug with tears in my eyes "It's beautiful, dad, thank you so much!"

"I'm glad you like it, we can always change things if it's not to your liking"

I shook my head "No, it's absolutely perfect"

I then noticed that one wall had pictures hung so I looked them over and saw that there were pictures of the whole family. Everyone was represented on the wall, even Thor and Loki. The one that caught my eye though was the one of Loki and I from the night of Tony's party. It was of us dancing, smiling at each other and I couldn't help the silent tears that fell as I looked at it.

Tony put a hand on my shoulder "I debated on not hanging that one, but I think the kid deserves to know who their father is. They should know you guys were happy together."

I smiled at Tony and just stood there for awhile longer looking over the photos of our family.

The months continued to pass the same, the team would go on missions and I would stay behind and have dinner prepared for them. Tony and Pepper started coming with me to my doctors appointments, they were both so excited for the baby. We found out that I'm having a girl and Tony wasted no time in trying to convince me that she could still be called Tony.

As I reached the final month of my pregnancy, Tony had someone stay behind with me at all times. He didn't want to risk me going into labor and not being able to reach anyone. The day that my water broke, Bucky was the one that was left behind and he flew into action. He grabbed my go bag and sent word to the rest of the team before getting me to the hospital in record time.

Tony managed to show up right before Freya Maria Lokidottir made her entrance into the world. Tony broke down crying the second she was in his arms and then again when I told him I gave her the middle name 'Maria' after his mom.

Freya was the spinning image of her father. She had jet black hair and bright green eyes, but had my nose. She was perfect and I immediately fell in love with her as did the rest of the family. There were very rare moments that she wasn't in someone's arms.

Freya seemed the most comfortable in Tony's or Steve's arms if not in my own. We were reminded quickly that she was half Jotun because she was more sensitive to heat so I had to make her baths on the colder side. She also grew more quickly than your average mortal baby, by the time she was four months old she was the size of a toddler and talking/babbling up a storm.

I was in the main living room watching Freya play with her blocks when I felt a weird tickle in my brain. My eyes then glazed over and I was pulled into a vision. This wasn't like the visions I had previously, this was looking through someone else's eyes. I quickly realized I was looking at Asgard.

Then, I heard Heimdall's voice "My lady, we need your help. Asgard is under attack. I am currently in hiding, but I will not be able to continue this for long. The princes have been stuck in another realm with half of our army. I need you and the Avengers to be ready to join us. I won't be able to give you much notice, when the time is right I'll only have a short window to bring you all through the bifrost. Please, Y/N, tell the others and prepare yourselves. You're Asgard's last hope."

The vision then abruptly ended and I was back in the living room with Tony shaking me.

I shook my head and turned to looked up at him "It's ok, I'm ok."

"What happened, kid? I came out to find you in a trance and your eyes were amber."

"I was contacted by Heimdall. We need to gather the team, we need to be ready to leave"

"What do you mean? What's going on?"

"I'll explain everything, please, just get everyone together" Tony hesitated, but left to gather the team. I took a minute to compose myself, picked Freya up and made my way to the conference room.

Everyone was impatiently waiting in the conference room when I walked in. I handed Freya to Pepper and stood at the front of the conference table. I cleared my throat before starting "Ok. I know this is going to sound bizarre, but I got a vision...or rather, a message...from Heimdall."

Tony, as always, couldn't help but interrupt me "How? We've been trying to reach him for months and now he's suddenly interested?"

"He spoke to me telepathically, I'm not a hundred percent sure. It felt like a vision, but he was in control of what I was seeing."

"So, what's he want? Where's Thor been hiding out with Reindeer Games?"

"I don't know the full story, but I know that Asgard is in trouble. They're under attack and apparently Thor and Loki have been stranded in another realm. Heimdall is in hiding and said that Asgard needs our help and to be ready to leave at a moments notice."

Everyone was looking around at each other before Steve stood up "Alright. Then we'll all be ready."

We were all in agreement that we were going to help out and cancelled any other mission that was in progress so we would be ready when the time came. I spent a lot of time with Tony and Pepper going over the game plan for Freya. Pepper would look after her when I had to leave. Tony wanted me to stay behind as well, but I couldn't sit this one out, not if Thor and Loki needed our help.

It was not even two weeks later when I felt that familiar tickle in my head and heard Heimdall call out to me "It's time."
