Yesterday's gone for both of us,
Am looking forward what today has.
For I believe the things that will last,
Can't be found on our forsaken past.
You told me about the past you regretted,
And so am I, my life's been reflected.
We've been miserable by emotions invested,
For persons who treated us nothing but wasted.
We want to end our heartaches and suffering,
We want to forget our unreturned feeling,
We want to cut out the tie that's linking,
We hold on to God to prevent us from sinking.
We're broken, depressed and devastated,
Our little pieces completely shattered.
But as we collect our own residue,
Our path has crossed and I found you.
I found you in my brokenness,
I found you in my lowness,
I found you when I'm starting to doubt love,
I found you when I doubt The One Above.
You directed me to Him,
You encouraged me to take delight with Him,
You remind me of His unfailing promises,
And to keep my faith during this time of test.
I am saying this as my way of expressing,
Expressing my readiness on awakening,
Awakening so that I can finally be on-moving,
Moving so I'll be close on whatever He's planning.
I take one more step on becoming better,
So I can face you soon like a Man of Tender.
Because my goal right now is becoming clearer,
I Want to Love You till Forever.
