Getting a new job..woow.. [ INTRO CHAPTER! ]

you're a couch potato, you lay on your couch eating popcorn watching a corny show about..you don't even know. you haven't even been paying attention to the weird show that for some reason has vampires in it cause you've been on your phone, you continue to scroll through tiktok until an ad for a Pizzaplex pops up on your phone. " hm.. " you casually click the ad, it opening your safari and opening a brand new tab taking you to a website. the site says their looking for more night/morning guards after a incident a while back, weird..you click the Survey link under some of the text, it brings you to another page as you wait patiently for the page to load, it finally loads after feeling like years. you continue to put in your information, name, birthday, location and everything.

you just shrug slightly, setting your phone back down as you continue to watch the strange show on the tv and continue to eat the slightly cold, buttery popcorn, you lay down on your side still looking up at the tv but then slowly close your eyes and slowly but surely drift off to sleep.
[ The Next Morning.. ]
You toss and turn, feeling your body slick and hot. Fuck i'm sweating again, you quickly throw the blanket off you and sit up. you turn to see your phone at the other end of the couch so you slowly lean over and grab it looking through your notifications. you seen you've gotten an email from..the pizzaplex!? you weren't expecting to get a reply as you weren't really taking the job application seriously, you open the email slowly scanning over it and seeing..you got the job!? WHAT!? you continued to scan over the email faster than before seeing you've gotten the position of the closing and night shifts, you see they've set your schedule to go in, today! jesus this fucking place sucks- probably..you've never even seen the pizzaplex let alone been in it, you quickly hop up and run to your bedroom. picking somewhat decent clothes to wear, you then walk to the bathroom and slowly take off your shirt and pants, then the rest to then turn on the shower to really hot water, entering the hot shower, as you stand there you feel the boiling hot water run down your shoulder blades and back, leaving red marks tracing where the water was, you quickly wash up and clean your hair then hop out. you grab a towel and rush to dry your hair with the towel then the rest of your body, you then finish drying up and toss the towel to the side then walk back to your room and get dressed, you lastly slip on your Converses and grab your things and your keys and rush out the door.
[ DRIVING TO THE PIZZAPLEX ]
You're slightly overthinking the car ride, what if you fuck up on the first day? what if nobody likes you, what if you just get malled by one of those creepy robots?! you breath in and out slowly and continue the drive calmly listening to lemon demon.
[ AT THE PIZZAPLEX! ]
You arrive at the pizzaplex..it looks so intimidating.. as you walk up to the entrance, looking up at the HUGE building, you get a shiver down your spine and you feel hot and sweaty. you gulp and walk in. you look around and see millions of kids running around and parents yelling at there kids to come back, you slightly let out a little chuckle as you feel someone tap your shoulder from behind you. you flinch and quickly turn around visibly flustered and nervous, " hey, are you Y/N-? " you see the blonde say. you look at the blonde and shift your eyes from the left and right then you stare at the blonde, " me-? yeah i'm Y/N.. " you mumble out, shyly. " well hi, i'm Venessa but you can just call me Ven. i'll be showing you around the pizzaplex to help you learn the layout and everything else, along with how to maintain protocols throughout your shifts, if you have any questions just feel free to ask me alright-? " she quickly spurts out, you look in aw as how quickly she said that sentence. " u-uh yeah yeah of course.. " you whisper out, glancing down towards the floor then back up at Ven, Ven murmurs out " alright come on " she did sort of a rushing gesture as she starts to walk towards the actual entrance you quickly rush to catch up with her as you steady your pace when next to her, you guys go past the entry point and up the stairs to the entrance of the daycare. " This is the daycare, this is mainly where you're going to be during your shifts, let's head on in and we can introduce you to the animatronic that'll be with you most of the time. " Ven says glancing towards you. you just nod and she pushes the doors opens and you both walk down the hall to the actual entrance of the daycare, you both walk closer to the big metal door as it slowly lifts up and you see a big line of people waiting to enter-? you're not really sure. Ven murmurs out once more " here just follow me and don't question how we do shit here. " you just stare and don't even reply, Ven walks over to a slide-? as you see her disappear into the slide, you follow behind her not knowing where it leads, you then land in a ball pit and stand there looking very confused " hey over here! " Ven shouts and waves at you out of the ball pit with a very tall, either sun or star related character. you walk through and get out of the ball pit. " so this is Sunrise here but we address him as Sundrop for our advertising ya know " Ven points at the large tall Animatronic. you look up at Sundrop in aw looking in shock cause of how tall and lean he was " Why hello there new friend!! " he happily spits out as he walks towards you and quickly scoops you up, you flinch then begin to squirm " h-hey! let the fuck go of me-! " you sort of shout out. he gently sets you down and steps away from you, looking sorta scared and nervous. Ven says " hey, you shouldn't talk to him like that. he has human emotions ya know- " you brush yourself off switching your gaze from Ven to Sundrop. " Also watch your language, this is a daycare with may small children and i'm not tryna get fired for your ignorance. " Ven said bluntly. you just looked back towards the ground. feeling even more shittier than you were before. you look up towards Sundrop " hey i'm sorry Sunny, you just startled me. i'm not used to ya know just meeting people and them just picking me up.." you say slightly holding your arm looking nervous and embarrassed. " no, no it's okay! i know i'm not supposed to just scoop people up like that but i just get so excited to meet someone new! i'm sorry i really hope you understand. " Sundrop looked towards you actually looking..sad. you felt bad for how you reacted and reached out and booped his nose, he stumbled back and smiled, hopping up and down looking like he wanted you to follow him " Hey you can go along with him, he could probably show you around later tonight if you choose to stay here till it closes. " Venessa says looking towards you lifting one eyebrow " uh i guess i'll stay here. but uh thank you for..for i guess helping me-? " you say looking towards Ven with a smile, she looks back and smiles back, " of course, i'll be probably near the salads n sides so you can just ask Sun to get in contact with me if you need anything. " she said then walked off, i then glanced back towards Sunny " Can we like maybe finger paint? do you like finger painting or do you wanna play with the kids with me?? " Sunny said very very excitedly but he then cut himself off " oh i never got your name!? what is your name Sunshine? " He said, hearing him call you sunshine slightly made you flustered, a light red blush grew on your face and you smiled towards Sunny " my names Y/N it's nice to properly meet you Sunny. " Sunny hops up n down " what a wonderful name! i'm very happy to have you as a friend!! " he giggled when he finished his sentence, as he scooped you up once again bringing you to a huge desk " here! this is were you'll be doing your work and filing in the kids as they enter, i've already done all of the ones currently here but if any new tiny friends come in you'll just need to put there name and parents name in here and thats that! " he smiled setting you down in the chair gently, " thank you sunny. " your blush grows and is very visible now " you alright? you feeling sick? you're looking a bit red- " Sunny says as he places the back of his hand on your forehead " y-yeah! i'm okay- just nervous is all- " you say moving his hand and holding it, Sunny smiles at you. " Alrighty! i'll be with the children if you need anything, you can just shout!! " he says as he hops away to the kids, he makes you feel so comfortable and happy, his presence is calming and soothing, it's a nice feeling. you sit down and begin the first day.
