~ Mathilda POV ~

"Mum? Mum, what is going on here?" I mumbled, pulling my mother closer by her arm. We both stepped outside the house and looked up into the sky.

The sky darkened, clouds hid the sun and thunder rumbled somewhere far away. The chilly coolness crept up my legs, making me shiver.

That had already happened before. Many years ago. It had started the exact same way.

"I don't know, sweetheart, but it reminds me a lot of last time." I nodded. Yes, it did. A storm was coming. A dark and cruel one. Not one caused by weather. The sky darkened even more — turned gloomy.

It has been to calm for too long. Now the silence was broken and we all knew what that meant.

A few minutes later a thunder started, wind blew through the trees and it started raining cats and dogs. The thunder rumbled the whole night, branches hitting the house and heavy rain dashing against the windows.

I wrote a letter to Daisy to be careful and stay inside. I needed her to be safe and protected and not do something stupid on the Hogwarts grounds. I knew her and her friends often went to see Hagrid, but for this night she should stay inside the castle and also for the coming days. We all did not know what would expect us. What would happen next and what we had to expect from the future.

We partly got an answer to what was coming in the future the next morning through the Daily Prophet.

Ten Death Eaters including Bellatrix Lestrange, Dolohov and Rookwood had broken out of Azkaban with the help of Dementors who apperently had switched sides and were now helping Lord Voldemort. Parts of the prison had been blown up and they could easily escape. With them on the run no one was safe anymore. They were ruthless, lethal and absolutely deadly.

Obviously Fudge blamed it on Sirius' mastermind. Blamed him for helping his cousin break out. Blamed him once again for being a traitor and supporting Death Eaters and Voldemort, like most parts of his family.

Dear Mum,
Can you believe that they blame him? Yesterday there was this huge storm, but Hagrid is back and Umbridge is still insufferable. I am always in detention for literally doing nothing. Even Beth, who is in my year in Ravenclaw and has never ever done anything bad, like she never even uses swear words, was sent to detention three times last week. I cannot stand this woman, she makes our life terrible and I am so scared of only putting one toe out of place.....I miss you and sometimes I just want you to hold me. I am looking forward to coming home soon. Kisses, Daisy.

Oh and PS. More people believe Harry now, that is good, the only good news I actually have!!

The good news were that at least now more people started to believe Harry and according to Daisy and Harry also Hagrid had returned and brought along a little secret which they were not telling us about as it was too dangerous to write it in a letter.
