Chapter Eight - Texting Bonnie!

Serena's POV:

*Ding*

"No... I didn't leave the oven on..."

*Ding*

"Mmm..."

*Ding*

Serena opened her eyes to her getting spammed with text messages.

Serena got out of bed and went over to her bag to pick up her phone. There were texts from Clemont.

"Why is Clemont texting me? He never texts anybody..."

Serena read the texts.

Clemont: Hi Serena! This is Bonnie!

"Oh, It's Bonnie!" Said Serena to herself, smiling a bit.

Bonnie: Clemont said that we are coming to Hoenn tomorrow! I am so excited to see you again!

Bonnie: Oh yeah... Ash is coming too 😏

Serena blushed at the text and started typing her reply.

Serena: That's great that you all are coming! I am so excited to see you guys again!

Serena smiled and put away her phone. She had to tell May and Drew the news.

Serena changed into her casual clothing and looked up to the top bunk. May wasn't there. Again. Serena felt like she would get used to May waking up before her.

Serena walked down the stairs and walked up to her three friends, who were having an odd conversation.

"Thank god you didn't throw Max out of the window, Drew! I actually had a dream about it last night..." Said May, being the sister she was.

"Well, Drew probably can't throw me out the window anyway, since he is weak." Said Max, challenging Drew.

"YOU TAKE THAT BACK YOU LITTLE RAT!" Shouted Drew, causing a little scene. "I WILL AND CAN THROW YOU OUT THE WINDOW!"

Drew looked around, seeing some heads turned towards him.

"Uh... Sorry..." He said, scratching the back of his head.

The three saw Serena walking towards them, with tired eyes.

"Hey, guys... What's up?" Said Serena, rubbing her eyes.

"Nothing much." Said Drew.

"Nothing much?" Said May, hands on her hips.

"Drew said he will and can throw me out the window!" Whined Max.

Serena laughed.

"I might want to see that." She said, still laughing.

"See? Somebody agrees with me that Max is annoying!"

"I never said he wasn't annoying!" Said May.

"Yeah, then why don't you agree with me throwing him out the window?"

"Because he is my brother!"

"That's fair."

Serena stood there, listening to their back-and-forth conversation, waiting so she could say something.

She looked at Drew. His green hair, and his beautiful, emerald green eyes.

"What do you think, Serena?" Asked May.

"Huh?"

"Did you zone out?"

"Yeah... I am still a little tired!"

"Oh, okay!"

Is it possible to have two crushes at once? Serena has a crush on ash, who is coming tomorrow, and a crush on Drew!

Serena sighed. She had to do it now before Ash comes tomorrow.

"Drew? Can we talk?"

"Yeah, sure." He said, standing there. "What about?"

Serena paused, wondering if she should turn back and make up an excuse. No. She shouldn't.

"No, like... In private?"

Drew winced.

"Yeah... Sure." He said, following Serena out of the Pokémon center to talk.
