Chapter Eighteen - Going to the mall!

May's POV:

May has felt that Serena has been spending more time with the Kalos gang, instead of spending time with her and Drew. It truly hurt May.

Drew and May were walking to the Mall. May loved going to the mall because there are many great cafes and clothing stores to check out. She also loved it because shopping took her mind off thoughts that she didn't want to think about.

The two entered the mall through the automatic sliding doors, walking through the hallways of the mall. May looked around, looking for a store that catches her eye.

"Let's go over there!" Said May, pointing to a store.

"Which one?" Said Drew. He couldn't see exactly where May was pointing to. 

"Uhm..." May moved closer to the store so she could read the sign. "Ivysaur Clothing!"

Drew nodded, following May into the store.

"Ooh! I like this shirt!" Said May, taking off a large red t-shirt with a picture of a Blaziken on it. She handed Drew the shirt, placing it on top of the pile of shirts he was already carrying.

"Can we go check out now?" Said Drew. The amount of clothing in his arms was making his arms tired.

"Yeah, sure!" Said May, walking to the cash register. "Let's go!" She said, motioning to Drew to have him follow her.

"Mhm."

The two walked to the cash register, Drew placing all of the clothing onto the conveyor belt.

"That will be 2,000 pokedollars!" Said the cashier, placing the clothing into plastic bags. May pulled the number of pokedollars out of her bag around her waist and gave the cashier the money.

"Thank you! Have a nice day!" Said the cashier, smiling at the two teenagers.

Drew and May walked to the exit of the store.

"You two make a great couple!" Said the cashier randomly before the duo walked out of the store.

"Thanks?" Said Drew, not in the mood to tell the cashier that they weren't a couple.

The duo walked out of the store, both carrying a bag of clothing in each hand. They both sat down on a bench, placing the plastic bags of clothing down by their feet.

"So... Where would you like to go next?" Asked Drew, looking to May. "A café?" 

May looked back at Drew, thinking of where to go next.

"I don't know where to go next... Maybe-" May was cut off by the recognizable sight of a honey-blonde female, who was running down the halls of the mall, crying.

"Was that Serena?" Asked Drew, looking at Serena running down the hall. "Yeah, it is!" Said May, standing up to go after Serena.

"I'm going to go to Serena. Follow me if you want!" Shouted May, already running after Serena, leaving Drew with the four bags that he has to carry himself.

"Wait for me!" Shouted Drew, running after May with the four bags of clothing in his hands.
