CHAPTER 9

Taking a deep sigh , She looks upward & says – God, I am thankful to you for granting my wish to get Anika to succeed but I never imagined my son to achieve everything on the cost of his own happiness.

Now , I pray that whatever that ails my son , he gets cure for it as soon as possible. I wish my son gets the burden lifted off his head which seems to drag him down the path of loneliness. She believes that there is still something that Shivaay hasn't told any one but she is helpless as her son refused to share it with anyone.

Next day , Anika & Viranshu lands in Mumbai .

Here, IN OM , Shivaay secretary informs him about the invite to Mr. Mehta 's wedding .

In evening , Anika is seen running here & there , checking the arrangements last time . Then comes Viranshu with plate full of fruits , trying to feed running Anika by his own hands.

Viranshu- Sweetheart calm down . Everything is done & its fantastic. Now sit here & eat it. I do not want you to get sick or tired.

Anika- I know that all the preparations is done & our staff 's competence but still I want to reconfirm it by myself.

Viranshu – Ok alright. Now get ready as function is about to start & people have started to come.

Anika says "Ok , I am going" & She goes running whereas Viranshu shakes his head & says "Sweetheart what do I do with u" ! & laughs to himself.

Around 9'o clock , all the guest starts coming & here comes Shivaay . He goes & mingle with his business associates for some time. He goes to take a breather by window & sees a girl's back who is talking to some lady. It's the girl's voice that draws his attention to her. 

He feels he knows the voice as he keeps staring at her. The girls faces the side to talk to some one else & Shivaay gets shocked to see the girl to be Anika .

He did not realize when he starts walking towards her. He was 10 steps away when he sees a guy comes & snakes his hand around Anika's waist. Shivaay fist his hands . He sees Anika blushing & telling the guy – " Behave! We are outside & there are so many people here." To which the guy reply- " Sweetheart, Now we can officially romance anywhere & no one will say anything." Shivaay feels anger rising in him as he sees both of them hugging , laughing & teasing each other.

Then, he hears Mrs. Mehta praising Anika's work & wishing her best for her upcoming future. Shivaay just keep staring Anika, as he starts to walk towards her again, his business associates comes in suddenly at his front, he tries to walk past them but is again pulled in conversation. He tries to see past them but again unable to . By the time, he gets free from them, he realizes that Anika is now where , he searches for her in the party but do not find her. He leaves the party after asking Mr. Mehta about the organizer's name & their company.

As he returns OM, he is still thinking about Anika & that person. He calls Khanna & ask him to search about " Makes your occasion more special" Event management company & tells him to get every information about its owner too.

Khanna thinks that it might be related to business & says "Ok, sir".
