it was late in the days, December 30th and I had been waiting a year for this
a new years kiss
you see i have this "friend", her name is Toni and she's so hot and i have a crush on her
but i didn't wanna tell her until new years eve, so if everything goes in order we can kiss as soon as the clock hits 12:00am
if things don't go that way..well that's it, i won't mind

"Cher, you look fine. Your trynna look good for someone" Toni says combing her hair softly so her curls could flow
"I am, How do I look?" Cheryl says turning around as she wearing a red tight dress with red and black heels with a black jean jacket, her ginger hair straighten and perfect
"You look..really good" She says smiling a bit
"Now come on! We have one hour to get over to Veronica's place!"

Veronica's place was off of a beach, they had everything set up for this moment, Cheryl asking Toni out

As the clock hit 11:58, Cheryl had a knot in her stomach, her hands shaking as her breathing heavy as her friends calmed her down. By them her hair was in a ponytail
She called over Toni as music played in the background and people started recording

"Toni, I've been meaning to ask you something"
"Hm?"

She looked over at Veronica who had the clock set it was 11:59pm, just seconds before it hit 12:00am

"Will you be my girlfriend?" She said with a baking voice

A smile went on Toni's face as they counted down from 10 as the colors went getting ready to shoot into the sky, fireworks were going to began

"Will this answer your question?"

As it struck 12:00am, Toni pulled Cheryl in, kissing her in one of those romantic positions as everyone screamed with joy and happiness, the colors shot into the sky, fireworks started
