Teri Meri Ek Jindri

The third ritual

So in last part bondita sand the Aarti and the whole village came to hear her.

Let's continue,

At 12 am night,
Anirudh was in a white karta pajama and came in his balcony facing the village. Suddenly he saw that Ganga (gys here bihari's wife is ganga) was going somewhere "yeh Ganga kaki kidhar jaa rahi h... vo bhi iss wakt raat mein" he thought in his mind. Suddenly he felt like he's going to be unconscious "yeh achanak se itni neend si kyu aa rahi h" he said placing his two fingers near his head. He tried to watch where Ganga going but his eyes were closing. Still he saw that she was going in bondita's house "yeh bondita ke ghar kyu jaa rahin h... kahin kaka toh kuch... mu...mughe jaake dekhna hoga" he said and was going when he collided with his bed in his room and fallen on his bed and felt asleep. Kaka was watching him from the door of his room "humein maaf kar dena anirudh ki hum tumse itni badi baat chhipa rahe h par... yeh zaroori h tumhari zindagi ke liye... bondita ka tumhari zindagi se dur hona zaroori h" he said

Next morning,
At bondita's side,
She opened her eyes and saw herself tied with a pillar in an open ground. That ground was none other than  the Dugga maa's mandir which was in between tulsipur and Krishna nagar. "Yeh mere haath kyu bandhe hue h" she saw her hands tied with a rope "koi h.... koi h.... bachaooo...." she started screaming "eee... bondita..." Ganga came "chup raho... abhi pandit ji aur sanyasiniya aayengi tumhari teesri rasam ke liye" she said "kya.... teesri rasam" she got amazed "haa teesri rasam" the pandit ji came. Ksj were too with him "par konsi teesri rasam" she asked "iss teesri rasam ke baad hi tum sanyasini banke Somnath jaogi... wahan jaake tumhara ek yagya hoga aur fir tum puri tareeke se sanyasini ban jaogi" pandit g said "trilochan g" he signaled ksj "g swami g... Ganga" he signaled Ganga to take out the things for the ritual. Bondita was unable to understand anything so she simply downed her head. Ganga came with a sigdi having hot coal. Sampurna too came with her with teary eyes. Bondita's eyes got widened seeing it "yeh... yeh kya h"

At anirudh's side,
He was unconsciously sleeping on his bed. Suddenly som came there "dada... dada... uthiye" he tried to wake him up but he was unconscious. He took some water from the jug and sprinkled on his face "dada... dada" he slowly opened his eyes and saw som sitting near him. He remembered that he was going to ksj to ask him about night "dada jldi uthiye bondita khatre mein h" he said in panic "kyaaaaa" he got shocked "ji dada jldi bade wale mandir chaliye" he said "par hua kya h" he asked "bondita ki zubaan chali jayegi" som said rapidly. Anirudh got shattered "dada jldi chaliye" som said. He ran outside the house as fast as he can.

At bondita's side,
"Yeh h tumhari teesri rasam... tumhari awaaz tumne chhin lene ki rasam" pandit g said. His voice echoed in her ears. The earth had slept below her feet. She took a gulp "bondita kya tumhe yeh manzoor h" pandit g said. She remembered anirudh's words when he was leaving from London leaving her there

"Bondita... khub man lagake padhna kabhi haar mat manna... bohot achi aur kabil barrister banna... aur mughe zyada yaad mat karna" he said with tears in his eyes placing his hands on her palm "kese yaad karu... aap toh mere bhagwan ho aur bhagwan ko yaad thodi na kiya jata h kyunki vo toh man mein rehte h" she said with teary eyes. They both smiled "aur kabhi apni awaaz ko khamosh mat karna... kabhi kaan khaane wali  bondita se khamosh bondita mat banna... kyunki tumhari awaaz hi tumhare hatiyaar h... tumhari awaaz hi tumhari pehchaan h... agar tumhari awaaz nhi hogi toh tumhara koi vajood nhi rehe jayega" he said

She remembered his words "sorry sakha babu... par aaj aapka sammaan rakhne ke liye mughe aap hi ka vada todna hoga" she thought in her mind "bolo bondita... kya tumhe yeh manzoor h?" Pandit g asked again. She saw at every person's face with teary eyes. Then she took a gulp and said "haa..... manz...oor hai..." she said with heavy voice and tears in her eyes "thik h toh prakriya shuru karte h" pandit g said and started the ritual. Bondita was facing dugga maa's idol "dugga maa mughe Shakti dijiye... ki aaj iss kathin rah par kadam rakhte mere pair na kaampe" the prayed to dugga maa. Breeze started blowing.

At ani's side,
He was running as fast as he can "nhi... aisa nhi hoga... main meri bondita ki awaaz usse nhi chhinne dunga" he said to himself

At bondita's side,
Pandit g did all the rituals and then he signaled one of the sanyanis standing there to come and take the coal sticking with the rod. The woman took the rod and started stepping towards bondita with that rod "jeth ji main aapke aage haath jod rahi hu rok dijiye yeh sab... varna bondita ki awaaz toh jayegi hi lekin... anirudh bhi aapko zindagi bhar nhi maaf karega... uske liye aap gunhegaar ban jayenge uske pyaar ke... dushmani ban jayenge aap uske liye... itna bhi mat giriye jeth ji ki vapis uth na paaye" she said but he simply ignored her. As the steps of that woman were forwarding towards her... bondita's heartbeat and breath were increasing. The woman came near her and she forwarded the burning coal towards her mouth. She closed her eyes and opened her mouth. And the woman put the burning coal on her tongue. As she felt the immense hotness of the coal she shouted due to pain "sakhaaaa babuuuuu...." and saying this last word from her voice... she got numb forever. And when she called her sakha babu... he reached there but now it was so late in saving her "bonditaaaaa" he saw the burning coal on her tongue. Everybody got shocked seeing him there. He went near her and removed the coal from her tongue and untied her hands. Som came near sampurna "kya hua sampurna maa" he asked "bohot der ho gayi som... bondita ki awaaz chali gayi" she said and started crying hardly. Som got totally shocked hearing this. Anirudh untied her hands and without thinking of anybody he hugged her tightly and started crying. She too hugged her and tears were escaping from her eyes "yeh kya kar liya bondita" he separated from her and placed his palms on her cheeks. She downed her eyes "aur aap sab... yeh karte h aurto ke saath... dharam ke naam pe aisa atyachaar karte h" he shouted "yahi reet h aur sab yugo se iss rest ko nibha rahe h" pandit g said "yeh reet nhi ghinona atyachaar h... aurto ko dabane ke liye aap sab reet ke naam per naa jaane kitni hi aurto ki unse awaaz chhin lete h" anirudh shouted. Everybody became quiet "bataiye ab chup kyu h... yeh reet h... ya aurto ke uper hone wale atyachaar ka pramaan" he asked "bas karo anirudh... arre sadiyo se chalti hui reet h nibhani toh thi hi aur sanyasiniyo ko toh aadat hoti h iss sab ki sur main kehta hu ki ab inn sabki bondita ko aadat daal leni chahiye" ksj said "kyu.... kyu daalni chahiye bondita ko aadat... kyu kabhi kisi sanyasi ko aadat nhi daalni padti... agar main ek sanyasi ban gaya hota toh meri zubaan par koyila rakha jata kya... nhi... kabhi nhi... kyunki main ek mard hu... toh fir kyu bondita ke saath yeh hua kyunki vo ek aurat h sirf isiliye na... kyu... kab hum sab iss bhed ko mitayenge ki ladka aur ladki ek hote h..." he roared "aur kaka ab bohot ho gaya h... agar aaj bondita ko kuch ho jata toh... toh kya uski zimmedari aap uthate... aur ek baat suniyega... agar aaj bondita ko kuch ho jata na toh main bhool jata ki aap mere kaka h...." he said seeing straight in his eyes "toh ab tum humein dhamki doge anirudh" he asked "dhamki nhi de raha hu smgha raha hu... ki sab thak chuke... thak chuke h ro ro ke... aap nhi kya thake sabko rula rula ke...." he asked with tears in his eyes. Ksj just moved his head to other side. Bondita ran from there with tears in his eyes "bondita..." he was going behind her but suddenly somebody held his hand and placed a tight slap on his face and due to that anirudh fall on ground sitting on his knees. When he moved his face up, he saw that....

So gys what do you think who could be the person? And why did he/she slapped anirudh? And will anirudh be able to save bondita? Will he be able to save her?
