"Thank you! It was an old recipe that was passed down from my grandmother to my mom, then me." You told her. "And plus I already know how to cook. Derek just helped me with some of the food too." You mentioned.
"You guys are partners in crime. This was amazing." Aaron said while placing his fork down. You looked around to see everyone's plate empty.
"Geez was my cooking really that good?" You chuckled as everyone let out positive comments about how good the food was.
Well, now that means it's time for dessert!" You got up from the table and went into the kitchen to grab your grandmother's famous lemon cake.
"Wow, this is amazing!" Emily said taking a bite of her slice. You laughed. "You can thank grandma for that."
