Chapter 20
Pagdating sa bahay ni Kier ay nagbihis muna ako bago siya pinuntahan sa kitchen dahil ang sabi niya rin ay magluluto raw siya para sa dinner namin.
May maids naman pero hindi ko alam kung nasaan sila so I assumed that it's their day-off kahit hindi pa naman Sunday.
The moment I stepped in the kitchen, I saw Kier slicing an apple. Nasa likod ay ang stove kung saan may frying pan.
"What are you cooking?" I asked him as I walk towards the refrigerator to get a water.
"Chicken cordon bleu." He answered and I nodded kahit na ramdam ko na ang gutom dahil sa pagbanggit niya ng niluluto niya.
Humarap ako kay Kier habang umiinom ng tubig mula sa baso at pinanood siyang mag-slice ng mansanas, minsan ay humihinto siya para i-check ang niluluto then after that kukuha siya ng sliced apple tapos kakainin bago muling mag-slice.
Nagtungo ako malapit sa countertop at umupo roon. Kier didn't even bother to look at me. Ano'ng gusto niya? Mag pataasan kami ng pride ngayon?
I sighed and decided to tell him about my plan.
"I'm planning to live in Italy until my lost memories resurface, Kier." I said and stared at him.
He stopped slicing the apple and finally met my gaze. "When are you leaving?"
I felt a pang on my chest but I still managed to smile, "Bakit? Paaalisin mo na ba ako?" I asked.
"No. I just want to ready myself. I'm glad you're informing me about your plan now." He replied. Tumalikod siya saglit para patayin ang apoy mula sa stove bago muling bumaling sa 'kin.
"Why? Hindi ba't gano'n naman talaga kapag nasa isang relasyon ka?"
He smirked, "You did the opposite before-" He cleared his throat, "-so, when are you leaving?"
"I don't know. . . I still need to talk to mommy about it." I answered honestly.
He licked his lower lip before placing both of his hand on his waist. "Can I call and message you once you're in Italy, Kenna?" He asked like a kid who's asking for his parents permission about something.
Mahina akong tumawa at bumaba mula sa pagkakaupo sa countertop tsaka lumapit sa kanya para mayakap siya. Humilig ako sa dibdib niya at napangiti nang marinig ang pagtibok ng puso niya. "Of course, and I can do the same thing, right? We will update each other every day, right?"
I heard him chuckle before hugging me back. I felt him kissed my hair before he answered, "Yes, please, love."
We stayed like that for I don't know how many minutes. Ako ang unang bumitaw sa pagkakayakap sa kanya, while both of his hands are already on my waist.
I stared at him before cupping his face but I pouted when I struggled to reach his lips, mukhang napansin ni Kier iyon dahilan para matawa siya bago yumuko.
I didn't waste any seconds and kissed him immediately. It was just supposed to be a soft and gentle kiss but Kier made it deeper.
Wala sa plano 'to ah!
Kung kailan dalang-dala na ako sa mga halik niya ay tsaka siya tumigil. We're both panting. Nakagat ko ang pang ibabang labi ko nang ayusin ni Kier ang tshirt na suot ko. Oh, my! I didn't even notice it earlier. Nakataas na pala iyon pero sapat lang para hindi makita ang dibdib ko and just enough to expose my waist.
